Party at the Chay's

Went to Michelle's house on Friday...Christmas Day...

Dad fetched us to Sue Anne's house at around 4 pm...as we were going to follow her there...Lily came super late...if I can say....because she was "shopping." And then she actually wanted to go back home first to take her bag and other stuff, but it was so late her parents dropped her off at Sue Anne's house immediately after they finished "shopping."

Anyway, we went into the car at around almost 5, and not too long after that Lily arrived...so she hopped into the car, and we ZOOMED OFF!!!!!!!!! =)

The party was supposed to start at 5 pm...but we arrived there like 5:30 and guess what????? WE WERE THE FRIST TO ARRIVE...So awesome hor???? =)

Then Michelle took me on a "tour," because I haven't been to her place before...their house arrr...SO HUGEEEE!!!!!!!! Compared to mine of course...=)

Then Lily said that all the Chay Children's rooms are like Powerpuff Girls...because, Michelle's room is Pink, Melvin's is Blue, and Deric's is Green!!!!! And the powerpuff girls are pink, blue, and green!!!!!! lol...XD...

Stayed in Michelle's room for awhile, talking, then later I wanted to see their dog house...because Sue Anne said that their dog house bigger than her room even!!!!! Wah seriously very big...=)

Then after that, Caleb, Daniel, Jonathan, and Angel arrived...so stayed down there lor...=) Talked talked talked, then waited for awhile, then most of the rest came...except for Esther and Jane, and Lean Na, and Yvonne...

So we started eating after saying "grace," then Sue Anne and I were so lazy to get up from our seats...and Melvin kept saying go and eat la...but then when we went out to eat, there was a "long queue." So Sue Anne and I said, ada long queue la...so we waited for awhile then ate lor...We had a "private table." lol...there was another small round table near the food...the rest sat at the other table...which was farther away...only Michelle, Lily, Sue Anne, and I sat on the other table...then later a few others came over...=)

Anyway...later went back into the house and went up to Michelle's room...talked talked talked...then somebody called us down to sing carols...

So we went down, then Mr Melvin made a "big fuss" about us sitting at the bottom stairs...he asked us to sit at the "circle" but we said don't want. Sit at the stairs also can...but he kept asking us until finally we moved nearer to the circle of people...but I still sat on the last stair...hehe...but still part of the circle la...XD

Sang a few carols then we were divided into 4 groups to play the first game...which was Charades...

It was HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!! The way people acted, and guessed, it was so funny!!!!!!!! And somebody said something yuckie...ewwww...only Sue Anne will understand what I mean...=)

The last game was Muderer, or Mafia...whichever you wanna call it...

That was also funny...and the funniest thing was, the penalty was eating a plate of watermelons and a bowl of cucumbers...for example if all the "police" loses, then we have to eat...or if the "muderers" lose then they eat lor...only the normal people called humans or etc, are the only ones who don't need to eat no matter what....=)

Luckily for me, I have some reasons which I can't eat watermelon and cucumbers...=D I was so happy!!!!! haha...because if not, I will have to eat like 3 times???? haha...and some more the last 2 rounds, the cucumbers had WASABI in it!!!!!!!!! (not sure how to spell)

So everytime I'm supposed to eat, then they will say, "eh, supposed to have one more person..." Then they will say who??? Then I will say me...but I can't eat...so then the last 2 rounds, Leanne said, har, Charissa again??? ayuh...because I can't eat...so yeah...XD

The part was fun except for a "sesat-ed" person who kept wanting to take a picture of Me and Sue Anne but we refused...=) lol...

Christmas...

Had a Christmas Eve Celebration at my church on Thursday evening...

Went there early...because mummy and daddy had to help carve the turkey...so yeah...

Nothing to do there...friends came later, so I ended up walking up and down...because I was cold and nothing to do...and then I got tired of walking and sat down...but I was so bored....=)

Anyway, finally, Nikki arrived!!!!!! Wheeee!!!!!! Like so long never see her already...lol...she came with Eeleen...her school friend...seen her before...

Anyway, then later Lily and Michelle arrived also...

Then since I ate already, I watched them eat...and talk also la...then Caleb was also there, and then later Daniel, Jamie, and Sam came...so it was a very cramped "booth." lol...

Anyway, so yeah...we laughed like crazy that time, because Lily was explaining something in so a disgusting and funny way, and then Michelle choked like crazy because she was eating...and I "beat" her back, lol...to "help" her....lol...=) But very lightly only la...

Then later we found Ryeanne and Rachel!!!!!! They were so cuteeeeeee!!!!!!!!! Looked like flower girls...=) Then we played with them for awhile...found us some seats...then talked for awhile, and took a few pics...I will try to get it from Nikki...it was her cam...=)

Then the "service" started...there were alot of candle lighting...and almost the whole time, Ryeanne was asking me so many questions about the whole service...she was so cuteee...asking me why this and why that...=)

After service...I talked to Nikki, then Lily and Michelle, because Nikki went somwhere else and stuff...

I left quite early...=)

Came home, was so tempted to open my presents...but I just opened one or two and left the rest for 12 midnight....=) lol...

Lily's present was the most HIARIOUS of all!!!!!!!!! It's abit disgusting at first, but later you will have a good laugh!!!! XD

Anyway, I'm lazy to blog about all the details of that day so yeah...

Rumah Shalom

Went to Rumah Shalom, an orphanage today...

We arrived there and waited for them to finish their lunch first, and then we played games in the basketball field across the house...

First game was, a "whacking game." haha...basically, you need to know each other's names, and let's say, Grace is in the middle, and let's say we call out Sue Anne's name, so Grace has to whack Sue Anne with a bottle, unless, Sue Anne calls another name first before Grace manages to hit Sue Anne...so yeah...it was pretty funny to see how they played it...

Second game, was CAT, MOUSE, and DOG. There are 3 bottles, the smallest is a mouse, the medium sized is a cat, and the big sized is a dog. So for example, the cat has to catch the mouse, the mouse the dog, and the dog the cat...don't ask me why it's in this arrangement, but that's how we played it. Once your caught with two bottles in your hand, you have to do the "chicken dance!"

So we had to hold the bottle and "revolve" it around our body a few times. Mouse was 2 times, Cat 3 times, and Dog 4 times...

Jamie, was so bad...he purposely, revolve the bottle around himself, dreadfully slow, so that, when the other bottles catches him up, then he quickly pass it on to the person next to him which is Sue Anne, and after her, Me, and etc. So means it's harder for us to quickly pass the bottle to the next person because the next bottle is like just next to you! Means that the chances of you getting caught with two bottle is very great!Silly la he, purposely wana do it to all of us girls...>:(

Caleb was the first one to do the chicken dance...lol...he was so HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The way he danced, looked so much like a girl, and Lily and I were laughing so hard until it was so hard to stop!!!!!!!!!!! =D

And the 3rd game was Blow Wind Blow...a person has to stand in the middle again, and the rest of us sit down in a circle. So the person in the middle shouts out, Blow Wind Blow! And we reply, Blow What? And the middle person shouts out anything for example, Blow All Those Who Are Wearing Black! So all those who are wearing black have to change places, as in, move to another spot.

I was the first one to get out...simply because, I didn't know how to play the game, and Grace didn't explain the instructions I think...so yeah...so when they said blow all those who are wearing black, I was so blur...and I didn't know what to do...and I was wearing black!!!! =)

Then Jamie and Lily and Su Xin shouted to me and said that I have to move to another spot...and I was like, what??? So I got up, and then it was too late...so I had to go in the middle. And I also didn't know what to do after that. I was like, now what do I do??? And they said I have to say blow wind blow, and blablabla...so I said it, then I didn't know that, after saying it, I have to try and get into an empty spot myself...so I still stood there like a really dumb person, and they told me that I have to try to move to an empty spot...luckily for me, I found one! ahaha...I seriously looked like a stupid person there...=)

After games, we went back to the house and sang carols...the kids or rather more of teenagers liked Felis Navidad so much!!!!!!! haha...

And after carols, we gave out the Project Joy stuff....=)

I met a really cute and adorable little indian boy...his name is Steven (my dad's name) and he is 5-years-old! He could pass for 4, or 3 as Miss Jean Ann said...

AAAAAA!!!!!!! He's so so so so so so so so CUTEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I took a pic of him...I'll post it in the next post if I don't have any problems uploading from my phone to the comp...=)

Anyway, it was a good experience visiting the orphanage!

Church...

Went to church today, Eugene came back from Aussie! =)

He had a haircut FINALLY. His hair was like super duper long  before... XD

Anyway, there was a Kids Christmas Party today...wah...the food arr...it's like, fu yoh!!!!! They had a cony dog each, "fancy" ice-cream with oreo, chocolate chips, a chocolate bar, marshmallows, and etc...then after that, they had a bag of popcorn and a fruit cake each...WAH!!!!!!!! I also want wei!!!!!!!!!! lol...

But alot of the kids couldn't like finish it, because it was too much...more of younger kids la...

Ryeanne was so cute today...she was wearing a mauve dress, and had stockings on...Rachel look like a little ballerina!!!!!!!! XD

Rachel was a lil' naughty today...you see, Sue Anne has this bottle that when you press the middle, water will squirt out! So Rachel saw Sue Anne doing it, and wanted to do it too!!!!

Then Rachel did it on Caleb!!!! ahahahaha...Ryeanne also, but I had to help her press the middle because her hands aren't strong enough...XD...

Then Rachel, was naughty and said she wana squirt on Caleb's pants...and Caleb immediately said, NO! And tried to "defend himself" by blocking the spout and stuff... But then dunno why later, he kena, and he looked as if he "pee-ed" in his pants!!!!!!!!!!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! XD

Sunway Pryamid...

Went to Sunway at around 12 something today!!!!!!!

And guess what?????

SUE ANNE WAS THERE TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wheeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Muahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol...XD

Actually how I found out she was also there was because, Sue Anne and I were having a really very "serious" discussion through sms...

Then later I told her I'm going to Sunway and she said, WHAT???? I'm there too!!!!!!

And I was like, What????? You're there?????? Wheeee!!!!!!!! =)

Anyway, so when I found out that she was at Sunway, I was buying lunch...

Then later she came up to The Jusco Sports Section where my mummy was buying something for daddy.

Then we talked talked talked...but laugh alot also...XD

Then later my mummy talked to Aunty Kim Ping, and Sue Anne and I talked some more...like for half an hour???? Or maybe more...I'm not sure also...

Then we were at the Christmas Section, talking, then suddenly everything went "SMELLY AND QUIET." (thats how sue anne puts it).

Wanna know why????

It's because, suddenly, as we were talking, both of us smelled something that stung like crazy..."sweat and clothes that has not enough sunlight kinda of smell..." Then we both went quiet...and turned around and saw a really SLOPPY GUY...so sloppy ok...And immediately we knew that the smell was coming from him...

Then, slowly and as discreetly as possible, we moved away from him...but we still could smell after he was gone...OH MA MA MIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOODNESS!!!!!!!!! It was pretty repulsive...haha...XD

Anyway, it was so funny how both of us went quiet and how the atmosphere became smelly...=)

Ok, so, we continued talking but 1/3 of the time I think, was spent, staring at each other and saying, "tsk, tsk, tsk, or ciap ciap ciap..." Which ever suits it better...=)

It was so funny la...making that sound and we ended up laughing only...XD

Ok, we "seperated" at about half an hour to 45 min from the time we met...

Then went "shopping" Walking around mostly...

I soooooooooooo LOVE THE PET SHOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The bags, and stuff in there, are so CUUUUUUUUUTTTTTTTTTTTTEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But they are also very very very very expensive...Sigh...I wish I own the whole shop...seriously wish...=(

Anyway, we left Sunway at about 5 something...=)

Funny Incident at Church...

haha...something funny happened during sermon at church yesterday...

My friend was sitting next to me, she does not wish me to reveal her name. So I have to put "my friend."

Anyway, she has this purple water bottle, which, in order to drink from, you have to squeeze the bottle first before the water will come out.

So happen, she put the water bottle in-between her thighs, and I guess she forgot she had it there and squeezed her legs together, and the water SHOT OUT!!!!!!!!

She was sitting at the aisle...so it shot out the aisle!!!!!! IT WAS SO SO SO SO SO HILARIOUS OK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So funny until I couldn't stop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We were both laughing like crazy, including my sis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And it was during sermon so we couldn't like laugh so loud...but I think I was already loud...XD...

MY CELLO!!!!!!!!!!!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My cello, went like super out yesterday night.

I was practicing, and was playing a piece when suddenly I heard a "piak" sound...and I was like, wa-aat?????

And the first thing that came to my mind was,

THE STRINGS BROKE.

(Because, teacher told me that the A string especially, is going to break...haha...XD)

Then I checked, but no, the strings were still intact...

What could it be???? Then I strummed the strings???? AAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Goodness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What sound is that!!!!!!!?????? What note is that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????? AAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!

The D string went to like goodness knows what note...I think it was like F? And not the F above the D ok. It's the F BELOW the D. lol...Crazy huh????

And the A went higher...lol...to B! Usually it goes lower not higher...dunno what happen to my cello yesterday...

So I had to turn the pegs, and nearly forgot to loosen the fine tunners first. XD

And I got it at the right note, when, just as I expected, the pegs started RUNNING!!!!!!! They ran away!!!!! ahaha...those pegs are very very very very very fond of running...must scold them! =)

And I kept turning and turning, until finally I gave up because my hands were too painful to turn anymore. So I called my mummy...and she also turned and turned, and turned, until FINALLY!!!!!! The pegs were "kuai" (good) enough to stay put...=)

Phew, I hope it won't go all out again...

D-Performance!

Wheeee!!!!!!!!!!!! The performance is over!!!!!!!!!! lol...

Had a short last-minute-rehersal first, and then proceeded downstairs for sound check.

After rehersal, we had to leave our cases and stuff at the room, because Teacher said that we better not bring it downstairs, because who knows, somebody may just "steal" it...lol...

So we had to carry our cellos, our bows, and music, all the way downstairs.

Not to mention, we had to climb up a few escalators and stuff. Oh dear! haha...I was so scared I will trip on my skirt. XD

The stage was so TERRIBLY CRAMP AND SMALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAA!!!!!!!! How we mangaged to fit 11 cellists and a conductor on it I really don't know...

The whole center court of the place in KLCC was decorated with Christmas Stuff...the stage was all red, and had candy and stuff. The marshmallows were real!!!!!! lol... Laura, poked it with her finger, and said, "Oh! It's real!" lol...

Anyway, the sound system wasn't good, it was so terribly soft, even I could hardly hear us playing on stage, what more the "audience." I think they were all struggling to hear us...especially those on the higher floors...

Sigh...it would have been so much better if the sound was louder...=(

Anyway, there were 5 pieces. I played only in the last 2.

D-DAY!

Tomorrow is the peformance day...

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sooooooo fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!

Have to go there at 5? For a last rehersal...and then proceed to the CHRISTMAS TREE downstairs...

5 is JAM TIME. So daddy said we have to leave at 3:50 pm. lol...so early...=)

Last Rehersal!

Had a last rehersal yesterday at that mpo place again...

Instead of Teacher conducting, it was her sister this time...because, Teacher wasn't feeling well, and went off soon after...

We had a bit of problems finding the right room...simply because, as I've said before, the whole place is like a maze...and teacher's sis, who also said she sometimes still get lost in that "maze" was trying to fit the key into this door and that door, finally, she managed to fit it into the right door...and the correct room! XD

You must be thinking, why didn't Teacher come with us then because she knows the way? Well, she had to wait for another girl to collect her cello from her mother. So yeah.

The room was how we left it last week. It was in a bit of mess. I thought that people will come and take all the chairs and stands away after we were done last week. But I don't think so now. XD

The room this time, wasn't FREZING! Which was fantastic! haha...

Anyway, yesterday's rehersal wasn't as good as last week's...don't know why...haha...maybe different conductor...=)

TAVBS ILLNESS...

I'm SICK. Having the TAVBS Illness...Don't know what it is?

It stands for, THE-AFTER-VBS-ILNESS. XD...

The main reason I'm having it is also partly I haven't had like enough sleep. Simply because, for the two days of VBS, I didn't have enough sleep, Sunday also, then from Monday to Wednesday, also. So yeah...

Sigh...haven't had such a bad flu for such a long time...if I'm not wrong, the last time was when I had bronchitis...yeee...scarrry....=(

Bad cough, bad nose...=(

The past two days, woke up in the morning with my throat all "caked" up with phlegm!!!!! Eeewww...it was like, I can't even talk, I have to get out the phlegm first! XD..

I used to think that phlegm is spelled "flam." Hey, it makes sense right????? But then I don't know how, but I saw the word "phlegm" on some medicine box or something, and then I asked my mummy what it was, and she said it's phlegm la! Then I was like, har? Oh? You mean that's how it's spelled? Then she said yeah...lol...XD...

Ah well, anyway, I seem slightly better now...good...

I'm back from HARVEST HAVEN!!!!!!!!!!

Wheee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm back from the retreat at Harvest Haven!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Phew!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, somehow, when we are going to a destination, for example, our retreat place, the journey is like HORRIBLY LONG!!!!!!!!!!! But coming back, it's like SUPER DUPER SHORT!!!!! Why is that so, can somebody tell me please? =)

The journey there was, long, and I felt carsick...=)

First of all, it's not like a HOTEL. It's a Christian Ministry? Anyway, we have to set the table, clean the dishes, and take off the dirty sheets after the last day and put clean ones, and etc...

Putting the sheets was DIFFICULT. Also because they had bunk beds so it's abit difficult to put it nice and smooth...=) But I managed it! XD

The bunk beds happen to be metal ones, so they squeak and creak whenever, you move on it. It's so SQUEAKY!!!!!!!!

Aunty Darlene, had to share a bunk bed with Unlce Ian I think, so when she heard it squeak and creak, she said, ok, you're going down on the floor, lol...so they put the matresses on the floor instead, haha...because she said she won't be able to sleep! Same here...

Second, they have THREE DOGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *runs for her life* I simply am NOT AN ANIMAL LOVER...and one dog is bad enough, but THREE!!!!!!!!!!! Oh goodness!!!!!!! The whole time there, I DID NOT step a foot outside, until we had to leave. =)

2 of them were some blackish dogs(females) and the other one was white(male). The female dogs are, JELLY AND JESS. And the male is, JOSAY? Ok, I'm not sure how to spell their names so yeah...

Ok...most of the time, I was hanging around doing nothing. lol...they had alot of sessions, which were too deep for me, so most of the time, I didn't stay through the whole thing.

Yesterday, I had a good nap...it was between after breakfast and before lunch...VERY GOOD.

Anyway, I'm finally back home. HOME SWEET HOME. Somehow, I feel the most comfortable at home...=)

4 HOURS ~ Rehersal...Frozen...

I had 4 hours of cello playing today...=) Had my Cello lesson today since tmrw I can't go because of the retreat...

Lesson was at MPO there this time...like Jie Sarah says, the place is like a MAZE!!!!!!!! I had to go through this door, then this lift, then this escalator, and this door and that door and this corridor and here and there until I was sooooo LOST AND PENING! haha...

Had a rehersal too...for a "performance" at KLCC 2 Tuesdays from now...=)

My sight reading is sooooooo BAD!!!!!!!!! lol...had abit of problems with reading the 2 new pieces for the first time...lol...problems with the timing...=) It's sooooooooo FASSSTTT!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, I was FROZEN COLD in the whole place, my hands were AS COLD AS ICE, and I think my BRAIN was also COLD!!!!!  XD...

Ok I have to sleep now, retreat starts tomorrow!

Last Day of VBS!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today was the last day of VBS. I'm sad and happy at the same time...=( =) lol...

Sad because, of leaving all those cutieeee kids...happy because I won't need to be tired out. =)

Anyway, today was worse off for me compared to yesterday...I felt better yesterday...don't ask me why...XD

Today, both Rachel and Ann Hui were SUPER CHEEKY!!!!!!!!!!!! They kept GIGGLING, and giggling, and giggling on and on and on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And their laughter is so contagious, that you will also tend to laugh too! And Ann Hui, is famous for playing with her FEET and SHOES. She's so DIRTY!!!!!!!!!

And since I'm on the subject on laughing, Nikki and I nearly died of laughter today! ahahaha...it was in the Glow Rock Hideaway station...(cave science lab)

Some father was helping his own kid for something, and Nikki and I both found it so funny! Because of what he was telling his son!!!!!! It was just plain HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Took me so long to stop, and some kids were like why you laughing, and we can't answer them because we were laughing too hard to answer! And then finally Caleb kept asking us, why? Why? What's so funny!? Finally Nikki managed to stop long enough to tell him to listen to that dad...lol...haha...my stomach was so painful after that...so much for laughing...xd...

Ryeanne, Rachel's sis, is so cutee....haha...Rachel too! Rachel had a red-left-eye today when she came...=(
Aunty Dawn was VERY GOOD today...due to stations finishing their lesson or games or etc sooner than the allocated time, the kids have to wait alot. ALOT. So waiting means they will be naturally RESTLESS, NOISY, MOVING ABOUT, etc...so Aunty Dawn did some things with them using their hands and actions, and it worked pretty well, I must say! 3 cheers for Aunty Dawn! lol...

The top 3 winning groups today were,

1) GREEN ELMS
2) SILVER PINES
3) ORANGE ASPEN

So far the youngest group has never won these 3 years...well but what to expect? Sometimes, they are restless, because they can't understand and being young kids, it's just like them. And I must say, these year they were VERY GOOD! Most of the time, the groups making so much noise are the older groups not our youngest group! haha...I actually can't blame them! It's just them. But sometimes people have a different mantality...so yeah...

But Blue Sprouts(youngest) weren't like the last team...the OLDEST was actually the last team I think....shockingly...=)

Ok la...that's all for now...

I'm dead tired now...have to wake up early tmrw also because Jie has a practice at church...

VBS!!!!!! Ann Hui!!!!!

First day of VBS today...slept past 12 yesterday, and planned to wake up at 6:30 am. Put alarm for 6:15 so that I can SNOOZE it...hehe...XD. But my soooooo "SMART" sis, woke me up at 6. Man!!!!!! Not enought sleep wei!!!!!!!!!! And I was in the middle of a nice dream, and my cello teacher was about to explain something to me when my sis shook me awake. AARRRRRGHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, this year's theme for VBS is WILD WOOD FOREST.

Both Nikki and I are helping in the YOUNGEST age group. It's pretty challenging sometimes, but the main point is, as long as you LOVE LITTLE KIDS, YOU'LL DO FINE! hehe...XD....They are soooooooo cuuuuuuuteeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =)

I especially like Ann Hui...she's sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cuuuuuuuuuuuuuutttttttttttttttttteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee and funny!!!!!!!!!!! She's always making me laugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So cutee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then there was Emily, she was crying at the beginning stage, and she kept rubbing her eyes we were all scared that her eyes gona be swollen or something. Finally she stopped, and guess what? She was so super different later. She was like, talking to me, and asking me questions, and I was like so surprised! haha. But good la...if not, I dunno what's gona happen if she continued to cry. She was actually having FUN. =)

At one point, there were either 4 or 5 girls literally ALL OVER ME! 1 was on my lap, some "climbing" me, some, aiya!!!!! All on me la!!!!!!!! =) And the push me down!!!!!!!!!!! hehe...cheeky girls...=)

It's like Cosmic City VBS (last year's) was just yesterday and now it's another VBS!!!!!!!!!

Part of me can't wait for Friday, (VBS) and another part of me CAN wait for VBS. haha...

Tomorrow, Jie has a practice at church... Can't wait to see the difference of the deco from last Sunday's!

Sick Again...

Oh dear oh dear!!!!!!!! Guess who's sick again? Who else. ME.

This is not good. I think I didn't fully recover from the "just-flu." haha. XD.

My body not strong yet, so I kena another round. Sian la....

Some more, VBS is just NEXT WEEK. And usually after VBS, we will all fall sick. Don't ask me why. It's just a fact. =)

And the MONDAY after vbs, I have CG RETREAT. Super hetic wei...and tiring...

So I'm hoping I won't get a THIRD round of sickness.

If not, I don't know what's gonna happen to me. The result is gonna be a very very very SICK GIRL.

6th Cello Lesson

Ok, I know it's pretty late to blog about MONDAY...but I didn't have time to do it earlier, so I'll do it now.

It was pretty ok...funny also. This time, mummy didn't stay because she had to see Aunty Kay. So she instructed my sis to lock the grill after we entered.

The reason for that is because, there is NO SECURITY. Nothing at all. The door and grill are left wide open! Shocking. Not to mention, downstairs, there's a eatery place. And people see us going up and down. VERY DANGEROUS.

So, when me and my sis entered the "studio" we were in for a SUPRISE. The grill was LOCKED and it had a sign attached to it, saying:

PLS SMS ME WHEN YOU ARRIVE. ~Poh Joo~

I was like WHAT? And then I thought teacher wasn't there yet so I asked my sis to call my mum who was waiting downstairs still. And just as my sis did that, teacher came out from the room and said, "Oh! There you are! I just called your mum, thinking you forgot!"

I was like, Oh! haha.

Then my sis hunged up.

The biggest suprise was, teacher decided to lock the door now. Mainly because I think, my mum asked her about the security and stuff, and I guess she took in consideration that nowadays, it's super super dangerous. You can't wait until something happens first before you take any action.

So anyway, the whole time during my lesson, I kept hearing keys jangling, and the grill unlocked and locked unlocked and locked. haha. My sis was the one doing it....=) Have to open for other students.

The funny thing was, one time, she didn't even hear somebody at the door. lol. XD. That was super funny. And my teacher could hear from inside the room! Imagine!

Anyway, still have problems on my VIBRATO. My first finger is the hardest! This time, I have to learn to PINCH my fingers more. And make it TIGHTER.

Oh and my first 2 fingers needs to be flatter even more. My 3rd and 4th finger are perfect, according to my teacher. Only my first 2 fingers! ARRGHH!!!!!! Frustrating!!!!!

I need prayers for my family, it's really desperate...haha...I'm not gona say anything now, but pls, if you can, pray for my family that we won't catch any illness. And that our bodies will be strong to fight off any disease...especially for my mum...and my aunty...

That would do...I really need those prayers.

Poh Cho passed away today... :'(

My Great-Grand-Aunty, (poh cho) passed away today, at the age of 90 something. She could have lived to a 100. She really could. All of us, were hoping that AT LEAST she could reach a 100. Then we will have a big celebration for her! Unfortunately, that's not what God had in mind. =(

I was eating my dinner when we recieved the sad news. She was a good lady, always with a READY SMILE, and remembers to keep us in prayers.

She was SUPER STRONG for her age, until recently. She could walk still at the age of 80-90 plus...though with something to help her...

 She had SUPER DUPER EYESIGHT, thus DIDN'T ever need to wear SPECTACLES at all!

She could even drink coca-cola at her old age, while her fellow peers couldn't. She had super strong GUMS and despite having no teeth, she could even eat CHICKEN! And it's not that the chicken is all cut into small pieces for her. It's still on the BONE!

She could even eat "mua-chi!" She loved it so much!

She also ALWAYS had HACKS with her. She loved hacks so much!

Everytime we visit her, we will make sure we buy, a can of cold coca-cola, mua chi, and hacks.
She also had an AWESOME MEMORY!!!!!!!!
She could remember so many things at her super old age. She could remember this and that. Isn't it nice to have a good memory even in your old age? =)

Until recently, her memory had been good. The last 2 times we visited her, her memory was failing her already. She forgot that she already told us something or asked us something. When I realized that, it saddened my heart. That showed that she was really age-ing. =(

There are so many good points about her, until I can't blog it all down.

I'd like to post a picture of her, but I haven't go the picture of her on this computer right now...I'll try to post it soon...=)

Now, my dear Poh Cho, is in HEAVEN with JESUS! She no longer needs to suffer, no more pain, nothing. Happiness instead! That's what Heaven is! A place of no suffering or pain, to be with Jesus, God.

In that sense, I'm glad that she has gone to Heaven. She was really suffering back down on earth. I only wished I could have seen her one last time before she died...=(

Dear, Poh Cho, I want to tell you that I really do miss you and loved you!

I hope to one day see you in HEAVEN!

Shogun!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, I couldn't use the computer yesterday, so I have to blog about yesterday's dinner today.

Went to Shogun with Sue Anne and her family.

This is my SECOND time...and both times, was with her family. So funny. lol...=) Just that, yesterday, was with my family too. But the first time, only me. XD.

Ok. Was rushing to Sunway Pyramid, because Uncle Sim said that if you don't go on time, they will cancel the booking. Ayuh, so strict wan. =( Anyway, we arrived there few minutes early.

Ok, started eating when the Sims arrived.

Aunty Kim Ping said to me, to NOT only eat mash potatoes this time. haha...it's kinda of a JOKE because of the first time I went to Shogun with them...=) Ain't gonna tell, because...because...BECAUSE! XD

Anyway, I don't seem to have like a big appetite, so buffet is kinda of a waste on me. Sometimes I can eat...but sometimes my tummy is very SMALL.

My sister, was SUPER ADVENTUROUS! She ate like, SNAILS, OCTOPUS, ETC. I was like, my eyes popped out!!!!!!!

Goodness!!!!!!! Think of it ok. SNAILS. OCTOPUS. YUCKIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ewwww...I think I will vomit if I eat it...=) Seriously...the snail looked like OYSTERS. Ewwww.....

Anyway, I'm not a seafood lover, and japanese lover so Shogun IS a waste on me. haha. I literally filled my self up with cakes. lol. I coudn't eat ice-cream or any cold drinks because I just recovered. Sad le...=)

There was this really "Mini" whole chicken. Though it's cute, it was like sad. Because, I think it's a CHICK. And it's so mean to kill a baby chick. Not that I like chickens but, seriously, it's a BABY! Let it live! lol...

There was Tiramisu, Brownie, Strawberry, Green Tea, and Cheesecake. I only ate tiramisu and brownie. The rest didn't look INVITING. XD. Anyway, I don't eat the other flavors...so yeah...

Unfortunately, I FORGOT to take pictures. So sad. I wanted to take pics off the cakes and stuf...but forgot. I could SMACK MYSELF.

My sis did take some pics of the SNAILS though. But I'm NOT gonna put it on my blog. NOT. haha.

Oh and I have to tell about a funny experience.

There was this table behind us, and there was this young boy. Suddenly he BURPED SUPER SUPER SUPER LOUD AND DISGUSTINGLY!!!!!!!!!!!! All the adults at that table were like saying to him, yer!!!!!! And blablabla. Then when Sue Anne, and I, and my sis and Jae Han, turned and look at him, they said, in mandarin, look, jie jie looking at you already. lol. It was so disgustingly loud, and both Sue Anne and I coudn't STOP LAUGHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I was like super full that time, it was so painful to laugh!!!! XD...then cheeky Jae Han tried to immitate him...>:( Make us laugh some more. Grrr...

5th Cello Lesson!

Ok. Instead of having my lesson on Monday as usual, it's today, Wednesday. Simply because, my teacher can't make it on Monday. So yeah.

It was so CRAZ-EEEEEEE and STRESSFUL!!!!!!!!!!! But teacher said it's meant to be. lol.

The problem is, I have a SUPER big adjustment, concerning the VIBRATO. Ok. Vibrato. It's like SUPER DIFFICULT! haha. At least, my teacher said, I roughly know how to vibrate. Not like beginners, they litterally move and shake the whole cello up and down! lol.

But the problem is, I have to remember: FAST BUT SMALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's so hard to remember!!!!!!!!!! So today's main topic was: VIBRATO. lol. FAST BUT SMALL.

Teacher said that she wants me to concentrate on this mainly now. And also, my shifting position, not too fast. And also, I can't be too STIFF. lol...okie. la...

Today, was basically good. I mean my lesson, just that, my teacher was like laughing because, sometimes I remember to do the things she told me to do, and sometimes I forget. So when she like says, FAST! Then I do it, then ok la. Then when I forget, and she says fast again, and I remember, she will start laughing. Me too. lol...XD.

Haiz...it's a good thing my teacher sees the funny side to it. If not ar, I think I DIE already. lol...

Came back home, I took a nap. Very tired. My cough is getting better already.

Last BSF for the term! =) Farewells...

LAST BSF FOR THE TERM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  =)

Ok first of all, I nearly couldn't go because, actually, I'm sick as I've said. But I think I've been having fever for the past two days? Not sure also la...but I was DETERMINED to go, fever or not. Because, I need to bade farewells to my beloved teacher, joanna, and emily. Unfortunately, I could hardly do anything. haha... ok. Here's the whole story of what happened today. Bear with me...

6:30 pm~

Went in Uncle Peng Foong's car, for BSF.

7:15 pm~

Not even halfway yet. Still stuck at Sunway toll! Goodness!!!!!! It was a nightmare!!!!!!! The jam was like one of the WORST I've ever seen, it was just NOT MOVING. Sigh. 45 minutes just to reach SUNWAY TOLL...haiz...

7:25 pm~

Finally! We can really move.

7:40 pm~

Entered my classroom. Just on time for Discussion. Missed Assembly (worship) already but couldn't help it...at least was on time for discussion. Entered the classroom, was greeted with a bit of noise. 3 gals were trying to talk at the same time. First it was Joanna, then it was Tabitha, then it was Samantha. They were like, goodness you're late! I thought you weren't coming! I was like, yeah...bad jam la...

Actually, I haven't been like late for this whole year. haha. So it's quite unusual actually. hehe...=)

Anyway, today the class was mainly a CHAOS the whole time. We were having the best time of our lives! haha...I, for one, already having a fever, was feeling so super hot because of laughing too much. Couldn't help it. Joanna's laughter was like super contagious, and yeah.

We didn't have homeletics today. Instead it was "chit-chat." We had some paper thingy and we were supposed to write answers to the questions that Mr. Tan gives. It was so so so so so HILARIOUS! One of the questions were, which activity of the bsf do you like best and why? Somebody put, BIBLE LESSON. Because I can take a NAP. I was like, oh goodness!!!!!!!! And started laughing along with the others! haha...wonder who wrote that. hehe..XD

Anyway, we were hurrying teacher during Closing Activity because Tabitha was supposed to take a group photo of all of us and we were running out of time! =( Then suddenly, teacher picked me to read few verses. I didn't hear at first, then my friend gave me her bible, she already opened to the right passage, and pointed to the verses to read. I was like, oh okie. Then just as I was going to start, she was like, just read it QUICK. And Tabitha was like, Charissa! Read if fast!!!!! And Samantha was like, just MUMBLE through the whole passage! I was like, goodness, how am I supposed to read fast if you all keep asking me to do this and do that? Then teacher was shushing them up, I was laughing, couldn't read. Finally managed to read, but laughing through too! haha...XD...

Finally! We finished!!!! Yeah hurrah!!!!!!! And teacher was like, ok, he count 123, everybody get into places for the photo. haha.

Got pretty nice photos. TABITHA!!!!! Quickly sent them to me so that I can post on my blog and fbk!!!!! And Joanna was like, I wanna take pic with you, then we were like all so frantic, jumping up and down and stuff. And some of the pics didn't turn out nice also. =(

Tabi took a pic of just the GUYS. And 4 guys were like CRAZ-EEEE!!!!!!!! Gaven started it. He is so cheeky! haha. He wanted to lie down on the floor. Then Zech followed. Then Sheng Meng? (not sure how to spell his name) and some other guy also decided to lie down on the floor too! haha...but the pic turned out nice! XD.

Joanna was like jumping up and down trying to get up as high as Gaven. He's is like super tall kkk...XD...=)

Four of us gals, me, tabi, samee, and jo, took a pic with Mr. Tan. hehe. XD.

Ok la...oh and I gave Mr Tan a farewell card. =(((((( Sad la, he's leaving already. =(((((

Gona miss him!!!!!!!!

This Cold... is killing me!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My nose, is so irritating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel even worse today! The sore-ness in my throat is almost gone, but it's my nose now.

I keep sneezing, and it keeps running. And I really feel like it wants to "run-away" from my nose. Sigh.

Then, I think I have a mild fever. Not sure also. Sigh.

Once I have colds, and if I don't have like a bad fever or something, I always feel very hungry. So have to eat. Sigh. Hope I won't grow fat. =)

I just ate a big apple. And it brings back memories of my previous "sick-ness." Somehow, when I'm sick, I will eat apples wor. So weird. haha. XD

This cold, has a cold feeling. You know when you have flu, you will have this really "cold" feeling. haha. It's the sick cold feeling. I hate it!!!!!!!!!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel like I wana scream my head off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel like I want to just sleep and wake up feeling well again. Too bad that won't happen. =(

DOUBLE-SICK!

Sigh...I feel so awful now...woke up with a sore throat this morning. Sigh. I so totally HATE sore throats. It's like something stuck at your throat that hurts. Sigh.

That's one thing. Another thing is also something else that came up this morning too. Sigh. So i feel double-sick.

I seriously feel super sick now la...SIGH.

Worse, this like happens to be a HASTY flu. Don't know what I mean? Well, it's like, usually like maybe the first two days or something, you will have sore throat then only have runny nose and then cough right? Well, mine happen to fall on one day. I mean, I have a sore throat and runny nose all today. Sigh. The only thing good is that, my sore throat is not so bad as this morning. That's all.

AAAAAA---CHOOOO!!!!!!!! Sry, have to excuse me...really my nose is irritating me now...>:(

I think that the reason why I fell sick is partly my own fault.

You see, yesterday, I ate peanut-butter with bread for breakfast. Peanut butter is "hea-ty." Then for lunch I ate the chicken rice CILLI, and my mummy said that is also hea-ty because it has ginger in it. Ok.

Then, I ate some peanuts slightly before dinner. And also some peanut cramel thingy. OK. You must be thinking that's A LOT of peanuts. Yea...just realized it. Sigh. Then I ate curry for dinner. Another hea-ty dish. OH DEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sigh sigh sigh...ayuh...I feel so bad wei...=(

Ok la...I'm hoping that I will be feeling better on monday because I INTEND to go. I NEED to see few people. =) Last time already...sobz...=(

Tomorrow have to wake up early because my sis have to go to church early because of worship practice. Haiz...just as I'm sick have to go early. Sian...

Lord Jesus, I pray that You will heal me quick. Pls give me the strength to live each day for You. I pray that I won't spread germs to other friends, thus making them sick too. In Jesus Name, I pray, AMEN!

A Funny Day Yesterday...

Yesterday was weird. lol. I ate like 4 pieces of bread for breakfast, and when lunch time came, I was still full from breakfast. Don't know why. XD.

Then I hardly ate any lunch. And I lasted until dinner. Very unusual. haha. XD. I'm usually a hungry person. Usually looking for snacks...=)

Anyway, after dinner, went to Subang Parade again, for my sis's music lesson. Then my mummy and I decided to go to Secret Recipe to eat cake. Took a long time to decide. Was standing infront of the "display of cakes" and trying to choose. We would have been done deciding earlier if the BANNA CHOCOLATE wasn't sold out. Actually I think there were more inside the other fridge, but I think it was near the end of the day so they don't want to take out a new whole cake. Sad. If not it would have been nice. More fresh. XD.

Anyway, finally we decided on Classic Cheese. Actually I'm pretty fussy when it comes to "cheese-cakes." Simply because, I don't like cheese when the smell is very strong. I only eat certain types of cheese. I was pretty reluctant to have classic cheese, but my mummy ordered it already so, ok lor. Tried it, eh, not bad. There was hardly any cheese smell means hardly any cheese, means it's "cheating." haha. I enjoyed it.
After finishing, we sat for awhile then migrated to Mc Donald's. hehe.

Mainly because my mummy wanted to just sit down. I told her, why didn't we stay in Secret Recipe then? Then she said, she scared afterwards, forget to pay. Then I was like, pay first then sit on lor. But she don't want. Sigh.

Went to mc donald's and ate some more. Again, took a long time to decide because, mummy wanted nuggets, and I wanted a milk shake. But mummy said she was feeling cold and blablabla. Because I thought of sharing lor. Cannot finish the whole thing myself. Finally I said, order nuggets, and milk shake, and share. Then she said, okok la. So I went to queue up. HAIZ. Some malay lady infront of me, took so long because her family members also don't know what they want. She was talking to them from the counter and they were sitting at a table quite far away. Then finally when she ordered, not enough money. She only had RM 50. It was like RM 51 and a few cents. So she had to walk to the table to get more money. Then came back, then finally my turn. Sigh.

Anyway, I don't know why but I had a lot of laughing gas inside me yesterday. Laughed quite a bit. Even in the car back. =)

My Fourth Cello Lesson! *wig wig wig wig wig!*

Ok. I didn't have time to blog about this yesterday, so I'm blogging about this now.

You may find all these posts about "cello lessons" boring, but I'm just blogging for keepsake. =) To also help me remember what happened during my lessons and stuff like that. That is, also, if the internet doesn't CRASH. Which I don't think has happen yet? I'm not sure. Can internet crash? hmmm...good question...but nothing is perfect so yeah.

Charissa! You're side tracking now!!!!!!!!!!!! Go back to the subject! Good girl. XD.

Ok. First of all, now, instead of 1 hour lesson, it's 1 and a half because of? Yes you got it, THEORY. The dreaded word. Sigh, unfortunately, when it comes to music you still can't RUN AWAY from theory. Why? So sad. =(

So now I have theory, but I'm hoping that my teacher will teach me differently than my previous one which actually made me really, HATE theory. Already I dislike theory, she made it even worse! =) Ok, I'm just gonna forget about my previous teacher. Forget the past, Charissa! =) You have a better teacher now! Be thankful! Ok.

Anyway, now it's the "easy" period, doing grade 3, theory. As I didn't get a really good foundation and grasp or theory last time, my teacher thought it's better to lay the foundation so that it will be easier. And I agree! =) So I guess, grade 2 work it's like "kacang putih," so my teacher decided to start me on grade 3.

The first part of the grade 3 work, I know already. It's like, how many DEMI SEMI QUAVERS are there in ONE CROCHET? And stuff like that. And also, like put the correct time signature in the bars below. And the 5 sharps and 5 flats. Kinda of thing. The demi semi quavers thingy, I know how to do it, but not quick la. My teacher showed me a kinda of "faster" way. lol.  The 5 sharps and flats? Well, my mum kinda of like gave me a really easy way to memorize it. My old teacher came out with a really ridiculous statement, for remembering the sharps and flats. Including order too. She said something like this: Flies can go down and eat bottle. Doesn't that sound ridiculous? But she can remember it and I too, so I guess that's what that counts. But my mummy says this: Father called George down after eating breakfast. Makes more sense eh? Ok, you may be wondering why father this and flies this and that. Well, see the first letter of each word? It's FCGDAEB! And that's the order of the Sharps! =)

For flats, I somehow can NEVER forget it. I saw some resemblance in it. It's actually the OPPOSITE of the sharp order. It's BEADGCF. See? It's the opposite! But, I don't remember it that way. I somehow can remember it's beadgcf. I remember BEAD, beacause I do beading, and somehow, I can remember gcf! I don't know why! haha. But well, good lor. XD.

My teacher doesn't know that I already "memorized" all this orders of sharps and flats. hehe... shhhhh! She taught me a way of, it's a fifth apart from each other or smth. Not very sure too! haha.

Ok, I'm talking too much about theory. Let's change now.

Cello. Well, first of all, I wanna tell you that I practically was LAUGHING throughout the whole cello lesson! It was HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!! As I said in my 3rd cello lesson post, my teacher taught me the correct way to vibrato last week. But unfortunately, I still haven't go the hang of it, because it's so different, and there are tooo many things on my mind! I have to remember to put my hand like this, hold like this, push my hand back, make sure I bow fast then only slow, AAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!! Too many things already!!!!! My brain is gonna BURST!!!!!!!!!! So anyway, my teacher was telling me to WIGGLE my hand to vibrato. But the problem with me is, if I wiggle it, I will wiggle it like in a "lazy" way. But when I wiggle my hand faster, it comes out big as in, I move too much. Like too much "big." If you get what I mean, it's pretty hard to explain, but the thing is, I have to WIGGLE my hand, FAST, but not BIG. hehe. XD.

It was so hard to control my laughter, because teacher said wiggle wiggle wiggle, and it was so funny that I started "snorting!" Then laughing, and my teacher also started laughing too! I couldn't STOP!!!!!!!!! Seriously!!!!!! My cheeks were bursting trying to control it!!!!!!!!! Then as soon as I managed to stop, she says it again, and I go off again! lol.

Later, she was teaching me the "fishing shift." She calls it that because she said it's like fishing. The problem with her students, including me, is that, we like to shift position at the last minute. Thus making the shifting so quick. She wants me to shift at NOT the last minute, and slowly. It was one of the hardest things too!!!!!!! And she gave an example of, I should pretend a FAT man is on a diving board. So when you're fat, you can't bounce fast right? So yeah, that was exactly what I had to do on my cello! And when I think about it, it made me laugh so much! If she hadn't said fat, then I would have been ok. But the word "fat" somehow was so funny to me that I was really trying my best to do it and not to laugh too. Thus creating a super weird face. haha. XD.

I laughed so much until I sweat-ed like crazy! haha. Some more it's in an AIR-CONDITIONED room.

Oh goodness!!!!!!!!!!! Yesterday was one of the BEST cello lessons I've ever been to!!!!!!!!!!! =) And it's the first time I've ever said a cello lesson is best. =)

Second Last BSF! Bye bye to Mr Tan! =(

Today was the SECOND LAST BSF for the whole year until after CNY next year! WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *jumps for joy!*

Sadly, there are a few people I won't see anymore.

First, JOANNA! =(((( I'm gonna miss you lots Joanna!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =((((((( Next Emily!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm also gonna miss you!!!!!!!!!

And last but not least, it's MR TAN! My teacher!!!!!!!!!!!! It's so sad...he's gona retire... because he also finished the whole cycle of 7 years. But he still can continue if he wants, but he has decided not. Awwwwww....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We'll all gonna miss you Mr Tan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your teaching has been really good and so INTERESTING!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why oh why do you have to leave???????? =(((((((

Anyway, bsf today was kinda of PEACEFUL. I'm not gonna explain further, because, erm simply because I'm not. =) Hope you are satisfied with that.
