V-day Youth Activity!!!!!!! :)

The committee organized a VALENTINE'S DAY activity today!!!!!!!! :D

IT WAS SUPER DUPER AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

I've never laughed so much and so hard in my whole life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was practically laughing the 2 and a half hours I was there.. :P

First of we started out with the game called "Honey, I love you". It's a silly game, but it always makes all of us laugh.

Then we had a balloon game, which ended up kinda of like a three-legged-race. :D

Since we had to sit in two rows facing each other for the "Honey, I love you" game, (means girls sitting in one row facing the guys in the opposite row), we had to partner whoever is infront of us. :D If you are a girl, you partner with the guy sitting infront of you, and vice versa. :D

And with your partner, you have to tie one of your legs together just like in a three-legged-race, except that, you have to tie a balloon to that leg too. :D

So the goal of the game is to burst the others balloons, as many as you can, and protect your own one so that it doesn't get burst by the others. :P

It was such a crazy game, me and my partner decided to play safe first and stay in one corner and slowly venture out. We managed to get two balloons I think??? And we ended up being the last two "couples. So we had to compete with the other "couple." Now that was really crazy, the other guy tried to use his leg to step on our balloon from the front and my sister(she partnered the other guy), she tried to come from behind, it was such a tangled mess!!!!!!! :P I was trying to push them away, and Nicholas, he was my partner, he was trying to burst their balloon at the same time and tried to push them too. It continued for like 1 minute and finally my sister was so vigorous she managed at last to burst ours, but she ripped her pants while doing so.. :P

We were all sweating after that, so hot.. :P But it was fun la...it was so weird having your leg tied up with another person's leg, we could hardly walk.. :P

Next activity was, we still had to stay with our partners and we were given a piece of paper, and basically we had to create a story. So the guys all started first so they will have to write down a sentence on the paper including the random word the gamemaster gives. For example, let's say the random word is "flower." Then the guy can write a sentence like, Jane, do you like my flowers? Or, The flowers Jane was holding look so pretty, something like that. Anything random that comes to your mind. :D Then it's the girl's turn to write her sentence down, then it's the guy's turn again and so forth. :D But whatever we write our partner can't see it. So that after we created our little story, the gamemaster reads out the whole story and we will see if it makes sense. :D You will win if your story makes the most sense and also have some random-ness in it. :D It's a hilarious game, especially when the stories are all read out later. :D Some of it totally doesn't make any sense!!! :D

The last game we played was called Balderdash. I presume it's a game Sam made up. :P He was the one who introuduce the game to us today.. :D It's kinda of funny, still staying with our partners, Sam gives us a bombastic word, and we are supposed to become our own dictionaries and write our own definition of the word he gives. Practically all the words we have never hear of, because for a smiple reason, we don't have a wide range of vocabulary. Those like Sam, will know what all those words mean. Trust me, they are so bombastic they don't make sense! :D

Oh the words he gives can be things, an acronym, people, etc. :D But he will tell you if it's a person, a thing or etc...so that you can roughly get on the right track. :D

None of us got the right answers... :P And it's not only just writing definitions, we have to vote and stuff, but I'm too lazy to explain.. :D

Anyway, altogether it was a totally AWESOME DAY ever!!!!!!!! I had so much fun!!!!!!!!

Anyone for Sky-Lifting????

See the picture??? That's me with my dad and a "ninja turtle" in a SKY LIFT!!!!!!!!!!! :D Have you ever seen those really cool sky lifts at construction sites or buildings in progress and wanting to have a ride in it? I have!!!!!! :D I've seen sky lifts so often, and always wished I could ride at least once in it. :)

AND MY WISH CAME TRUE!!!!!!!!! :D Since my daddy is a painting contractor, he deals with all this kinda of stuff. He had to rent a sky lift for 3 days to do some painting on the facade of  a building. And since it's rented on a whole day basis, I told my dad I wanted to ride in it, and my dad said, no problem. Since it's already paid per daily basis, why not??? :)

So my sister went on it first, all the way to the top of the roof of a 3-story building??? I think it's a 3-story. :D Then it was my turn. It was kinda of scary at first, going so high up, but after awhile I was ok. :) It was fun!!!! Eventhough it went real slow, it was still fun to reach above the roof!!!!!!! :D

Now, you might think I'm so "kampung-ish" but I don't care. I've always wanted to ride in one and I finally did! :D

It was totally awesome!!!!!! ;)

More pictures.....

Daddy, Me, and Ninja Turtle. :) That's one of daddy's workers acutally, but we decided to nickname him ninja turtle since he looks like one. :D This was at ground level still.

We're moving!!!!

Going up higher!!!! :)

Higher even!!!!

Almost reaching the roof!!!! :D

Up in the SKY!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

P.s. Anyone wants to know how much is the rent per day for the sky lift? It's RM 350!!!!! Very expensive!!!! :P So if any of you ever want to go in one, just pay RM 350 to ride in it all day!!! *winks* :P

First Day of BSF 2012!!!!!!!

Today was our first day of BSF for the year!!!!!!! :) It's been so long since I last saw all my BSF friends, it was good to see them again today. :)

This year I'm in Senior Level (2) which means we have to meet outside in the heat. :( So-not-awesome. :( But the good thing is we get to change with Senior Level (1) after 6 months. ;) Looking forward to that. I'm sure all my classmates are too. :D

So we get our winter later in the year. :( But ahh well, I shan't complain, it's not that bad once you get used to it, although we have some unwelcomed members in our class. Also known as, BIRDS AND MOSQUITOES!!!!! :(

The mosquitoes are more annoying compared to the birds, I just hate mosquitoes!!!!! They are always biting me!!!! :(

One other sad thing this year, they separted JOO YEE FROM ALL OF US!!!!!!! :( Because BSF has this rule that a father can't teach his daughter in class. So since we have Joo Yee's father as our teacher this year, they had to put her in Senior Level (1). Which is most annoying!!!!!!! As Samee says, we are all ONE PACKAGE. You can't separate us!!!!!!! But they did.. :( And she's like been with us for the past 4 years and now she's in the other class. Sobsssssssss...

SWEET SIXTEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Both me and my twin are officially 16 now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :P My twin, (whom you might have read a little about her in one of my previous posts) and I have SO MUCH IN COMMON. Our birthdays are just one day apart!!!!!!!!! :P

Elise, that's her name, she turned 16 on the 9th of February, and I turned 16 on the 10th of February, which was yesterday!!!!! So now we are officially twins again!!!!! :D Because we had to wait until my birthday before we can be called "twins" again since she turned 16  first. :D

We are both the same age, have almost the same birthdays, and have many other things in common. That's why we call ourselves "twins." And it's really scary how each time we talk to each other we find out even more things to add to the list of things we have in common! It's really very creepy. :D One of these days I'll just blog about she and I, and the list of things we have in common. ;)

As you know, usually people say when you turn 16, it's "sweet sixteen." Since I usually don't have parties, and I thought it would be nice to have one to celebrate my "sweet 16th", I thought of planning one. But when I thought about having a party, that was like maybe 1 week ago??? Which is too late to plan one. So in the end I had to forego that idea. Sad. :( But anyway, I still had fun I guess. :)

My family has this tradition that when it's one of our birthdays, the birthday girl/boy gets to pick the place he/she wants to go for dinner. :) I didn't really know where to choose, so we ended up at Sunway Pyramid. I wanted to try a German restaurant there but in the end I changed my mind and we ended up at Italiannies. :D We actually usually end up there for birthdays. :P

Ah well, next year I'll pick somewhere else. :)

So there's nothing much else to report about, so I guess this is it! :)

It was still a lovely 16th!!!!!!!! :) And THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH TO ALL MY FRIENDS WHO WISHED ME!!!!!!!!!! :)

CNY 2012!!!!!!! :)

CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!!!!! :D

Here's a summary of what happened the 1 week of CNY Hols... :)

2 Sundays ago, after church, my family left for Ipoh in the afternoon. :) There wasn't any jam, thank goodness.

Ipoh was kinda of boring, as usual.. :) Nothing much to do, and we stayed there for 2 nights.. :( The problem is, all my cousins are either all working people, or, their babies, or, their kids. :( Infact, the only cousins I ever talk to are in Australia. Imagine that, how pathetic is that???? That's why I don't usually get excited for CNY. For a simple reason, I don't have anything much to do, no cousins to meet up with, no nothing. :(

Sighs. Ah well, anyway, the 3 days in Ipoh seemed like 1 week. :P I really felt like the stay there wasn't gonna end!!!!!! :P

One highlight in Ipoh though: My nephews never fail to make me laugh. :) They are always so funny, and awesome... they are still young kids, and I love kids, only problem is I can't really communicate with them as they speak chinese, and I'm a banana. :( I really must brush up on my chinese speaking skills.. :) So that, Ipoh won't be so boring,  I can talk to the kids. :) Note: When I say nephews, they are my cousin's sons. :P We call them nephews. :P

Finally Tuesday afternoon, we headed north to Penang...WHEEEE!!!!!!!! I <3 Penang!!!!!! :D

We stayed with my grandparents as we usually do.. :) Penang wasn't so boring, it was quite ok.. :) My mum's side of the family came to visit those few days we were there.....Uncles and Aunties, and Grand Uncles and Grand Aunties all came.. :)

The rest of the time, I was eating, using the computer, watching tv, (not much of comp and tv though) sleeping, listening to the rest talk, etc.. :P

Oh, and of course the PASAR MALAM!!!!!!!! :) I <3 the Pasar Malam infront of my grandparent's condo.. :) It's awesomeee.. :) And it's open everyday.. :) Except maybe 1 day a week I think they are close...not sure about that though. :)

We went to the pasar malam with my two aunties, they are my mum's cousins so that makes them my auntie...kinda of.. :)

It was just the two of them, me and my sis....which was awesome because we could stay there longer.. :) We were there for like 2 HOURS!!!!!!! :) Imagine, other times I will be there only for like half an hour the most because the rest don't wanna wait. But this time since it was only the four of us, we could stay there as long as we liked. :)

And Aunty Cheryl bought me a dress for my birthday!!!!! :) It's a pre-birthday present as my birthday is actually 10 days from now. :)

Another day we went to QUEENSBAY MALL!!!!!! :) Ah Kong wanted to buy something there so the rest of us tagged along...

And on Saturday we left Penang to go back to KL. :( I didn't wanna leave actually.... :(

And looks like, everybody was scared of the report in the Star Paper, concerning a jam on saturday and sunday....because, THERE WASN'T ANY JAM AT ALL for us!!!!!!!!! :) Awesomeee!!!!! :) It took us only FOUR HOURS to reach KL!!!!!!!!! :) Of course my dad sped along the way, but well, it was perfect, so fast we reached home....and the weather was so nice for traveling too!!!!!!! :)

It was an awesome week (:

Traveling

Going to hit the road to Ipoh in about an hour's time. Not looking foward to it. Traveling in the hot sun on a Sunday afternoon after church DOES NOT appeal to me nor does it sound inviting at all!!!!!!! :(

Ah well, hopefully it won't be jammed.. :(

I won't be having internet connection for a few days so, HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE!!!!!!!! :D God bless!!!!! ;)

And I won't be seeing her for like another 2-3 years??? Because this year she won't be coming back to Malaysia for Christmas break anymore as her whole family will be in America for the next 2 years or so. That's really sad... :(

Ahhhhhhhhh Louisaaaaaaaa, I wish you didn't have to go back to America!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :( Nooooooo!!!!!! :(

Lousia's such a sweet, pretty girl, and she always brings smiles to my face!!!!! :) She's so funny, and nice.. :)

Ripples 2012 Kick-Off Poolside Party!!!!!!! :)

Ripples had their very first meeting for 2012 last Saturday!!!!!!!

It wasn't really a youth meeting, it was more of a party... :)

The party was held at Laman Baiduri, Subang Jaya. It's a condominium... :)

The place is SOOOOOO AWESOMEEEEE!!!!!!! Like a resort!!!!!! :) The scenery, the layout, the landscaping especially, was all really tastefully done!!!!!!! :) I wish I lived there!!!!! :(

So, the party was from 4 pm - 8 pm...technically we could go off after 8, but we could stay there until 10 too. :)

It started off we Uncle Siew Meng giving us some advice and stuff like that, and after that it was GAMES TIME!!!!!! :)

I think we played 3 games????? And then we had food, and after that anybody could do what they want... some went swimming, the rest of us just chilled and talked. :)

I hung out with Lily and Michi, Swen couldn't come because she had tuition....... how sad..... :(

On the whole the party was quite fun, so many new youths, all of them Caleb's friends..... he brought like more than 10 friends!!!!!! :P

Oh, and we have a new Ripples Committee, the old committee resigned, because now they are getting older too, and also they have studies and college, plus, they've been in the committee for so many years, so now it's time to change responsibilities and the new committee consists of the younger youths.. :)

Here's one picture Lily, Michi and I took together.... unfortunately Swen is missing from the pic!!!! :(

Michi, Lily, and Me!!!!! <3

Ah Kong's 70th Birthday and New Year!!!!!!! :)

It's been a crazy week!!!!!!!! :P My grandparents arrived in KL from Penang 2 Sundays ago, and they are leaving tomorrow. :)

New Year's Eve~

My grandfather's birthday is on the 1st of Januray, New Year's. :) Yes, I know, imgaine his birthday on New Year's!!!!!! Awesomeee!!!! :) For several reasons we didn't celebrate his birthday on the 1st...so we celebrated it on the 31st of December instead. :)

And yessss, he turned 70 years old yesterday!!!!!!!!! :) WOOOOOTTTTTSSSSS!!!!!!!! Awesomeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

We had a chinese course dinner for him on the 31st, but that was also for his and my grandma's 45th Anniversary!!!!!!! :)

I know, 31st is their anniversary and 1st is my grandad's birthday!!!!!!!!! :D How cool is that???? :)

We had the dinner with my aunty and some other relatives.... :)

After dinner, all of them came over to my place for the cake and to hang out... :) We played games until 12 midnight, and FIREWORKSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

And also we wished my Grandad HAPPY 70TH BIRTHDAY and also a Happy New Year to everyone!!!! :)

How nice to be born on the 1st and have fireworks on your birthday!!!!!! :)

We stayed out at the balcony for like 15 mins until all the fireworks stopped... it was so amazing seeing all the lights in the sky!!!!!!!!! AWESOMEEEEEE!!!!!! :)

After that they all went back home since it was very late and we all had church the next day... :)

New Year's~

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!! :) Went to church, and my grandparents and aunty visited our church too... :)

Oh and we had steamboat that night, and another cake specially for my grandfather's birthday!!!!! :) So only that night we sang happy birthday to him... the previous night we sang happy anniversary to my grandparents... :)

*ahhhh bliss* :) It's been an amazing and tiring week..... :) I still can't believe it that my grandfather is SEVENTY!!!!!!! :P
