Happy Birthday Mummy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, today's Kerry's birthday!!!!!!!!!! :) I only found out today.. :) Didn't know she has the same birthday as my mum.... :) I miss her tons, miss her craziness, her fun awesome ways, and most of all her beautiful smile!!!! :(

Ripples 2012 Kick-Off Poolside Party!!!!!!! :)

Ripples had their very first meeting for 2012 last Saturday!!!!!!!

It wasn't really a youth meeting, it was more of a party... :)

The party was held at Laman Baiduri, Subang Jaya. It's a condominium... :)

The place is SOOOOOO AWESOMEEEEE!!!!!!! Like a resort!!!!!! :) The scenery, the layout, the landscaping especially, was all really tastefully done!!!!!!! :) I wish I lived there!!!!! :(

So, the party was from 4 pm - 8 pm...technically we could go off after 8, but we could stay there until 10 too. :)

 It started off we Uncle Siew Meng giving us some advice and stuff like that, and after that it was GAMES TIME!!!!!! :)

I think we played 3 games????? And then we had food, and after that anybody could do what they want... some went swimming, the rest of us just chilled and talked. :)

I hung out with Lily and Michi, Swen couldn't come because she had tuition....... how sad..... :(

On the whole the party was quite fun, so many new youths, all of them Caleb's friends..... he brought like more than 10 friends!!!!!! :P

Oh, and we have a new Ripples Committee, the old committee resigned, because now they are getting older too, and also they have studies and college, plus, they've been in the committee for so many years, so now it's time to change responsibilities and the new committee consists of the younger youths.. :)

Ah Kong's 70th Birthday and New Year!!!!!!! :)

It's been a crazy week!!!!!!!! :P My grandparents arrived in KL from Penang 2 Sundays ago, and they are leaving tomorrow. :)

New Year's Eve~

My grandfather's birthday is on the 1st of Januray, New Year's. :) Yes, I know, imgaine his birthday on New Year's!!!!!! Awesomeee!!!! :) For several reasons we didn't celebrate his birthday on the 1st...so we celebrated it on the 31st of December instead. :)

And yessss, he turned 70 years old yesterday!!!!!!!!! :) WOOOOOTTTTTSSSSS!!!!!!!! Awesomeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

We had a chinese course dinner for him on the 31st, but that was also for his and my grandma's 45th Anniversary!!!!!!! :)

I know, 31st is their anniversary and 1st is my grandad's birthday!!!!!!!!! :D How cool is that???? :)

We had the dinner with my aunty and some other relatives.... :)

After dinner, all of them came over to my place for the cake and to hang out... :) We played games until 12 midnight, and FIREWORKSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

And also we wished my Grandad HAPPY 70TH BIRTHDAY and also a Happy New Year to everyone!!!! :)

How nice to be born on the 1st and have fireworks on your birthday!!!!!! :)

We stayed out at the balcony for like 15 mins until all the fireworks stopped... it was so amazing seeing all the lights in the sky!!!!!!!!! AWESOMEEEEEE!!!!!! :)

After that they all went back home since it was very late and we all had church the next day... :)

New Year's~

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!! :) Went to church, and my grandparents and aunty visited our church too... :)

Oh and we had steamboat that night, and another cake specially for my grandfather's birthday!!!!! :) So only that night we sang happy birthday to him... the previous night we sang happy anniversary to my grandparents... :)

*ahhhh bliss* :) It's been an amazing and tiring week..... :) I still can't believe it that my grandfather is SEVENTY!!!!!!! :P

ROLLER BLADING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went ROLLER BLADING today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :P

It was our youth outing event thingy.... I decided to go.... Swen and Lily also went... there were 14 of us youths altogether...oh except one was one of our ex-youth leader.. :)

Anyway the place we went is called The Wheels which is at Subang Avenue top floor... :)

It's Rm 25 per entry for non members, but that means it's for the whole day...after you pay the 25 bucks you can go in and out for that whole day.. :) Means you already paid for one whole day.. :)

And after paying for the first time, you immediately are a member...free membership...so since today was my first time, I still had to pay Rm 25, but the next time I go I only pay Rm 20!!!!!!! Save 5 bucks!!! ;)

So they only opened the place up at 11 am...we were there earlier but we couldn't go in so we had to hang about outside...

This skating place is like a DISCO AMBIENCE.... like it was seriously super duper dark in there, with all the coloful lights and stuff... but on the whole, the place is really sooooo dark!!!!!!! :( It wasn't a very nice atmosphere as it made me quite sleepy... hahaha.. :D

Anyway, so there were two types of skates we could choose.. ROLLER SKATES or INLINE SKATES. I went for inline skates because when I was younger I used to use those but that was really long ago... anyway I don't like roller skates.... :)

Roller skates has 4 wheels...2 on each side of the shoe... inline skates are 4 wheels in a straight row in the middle of the shoe.. :) So of course with roller skates you don't need to bother about balancing.... inline you have to... :) Which is pretty tricky... :D

I tried on size 6 at first, later I found it too loose and I couldn't balance properly, so I had to remove those and get a smaller size.... and let me tell you, those skates are REALLY REALLY HARD TO REMOVE AND PUT ON.... it's like, it takes awhile to figure out the concept of it.. :P

So I got on size 5 and they were so much better... :)

Then came the tough part. Since the last time I ever inline skated was like when I was still quite young, I've forgotten how to skate.... it was more of balancing and pushing your feet forward that was tough... at first I kept clinging on to the metal bars they have all around the rink, and used those to glide myself along... meaning, I wasn't skating with my feet, I was skating with my hands... :)

I tried and tried, finally after like 1 hour, I MANAGED TO SKATE WITHOUT HOLDING ON TO ANYTHING!!!!!! Later it got easier and easier...although you didn't find me racing about like some of the guys... :)

Luckily, I wasn't the only one having problems, if I was, that would have been like really embarrasing... :P

Anyway I'm happy that I managed to skate without holding on to anything....thats the main point... :)

We were there from 11am until like 2pm....about 3 hours. :)

Then we all walked to Subang Parade to have lunch at KFC. :D McDonald's was crowded so we decided not to eat there... :)

So, RESULTS OF ROLLER BLADING??????? I currently have a sore, bruised, blueblack left knee, an injured right hand first finger, and beginning-to-ache-muscles. :(

Oh, I ONLY DROPPED ONCE!!!!!! :) And that was because I tripped over Jane and Esther's skates... ;P That's how I got my bruised knee...

My hurting finger??? I think I bumped into something and pulled or twised a muscle in the finger... :( It really hurts a lot and it's my right hand!!!!! I'm a right-hander unfortunately... :( Hope it heals soon... :( I feel so handicapped... hahaha... :P

And my muscles??? Well they are already aching, and tomorrow's gonna be worse...

Ah well, I had a fun time despite all these little problems.. :)

Christmas Weekend!!!!!!!! :)

Christmas Eve~

Considering not having enough sleep on Friday night, I woke up early on Saturday. Because we had to start baking muffins for Christmas Kopitiam at Church the following day. And we were baking petit muffins so that takes longer...

My mum and I really slaved over those vanilla muffins for like 3 hours!!!!!!!! And there were some failures which got on our nerves....sigh....the whole point is, when you are in a hurry, everything will go wrong... :(

Anyway we managed to finish making more than enough... :) It was a tiring job but we got it done.. :)

After that my family had to practice one more time for Sunday Worship... and that took quite awhile too.... then it was gym time, and quickly rush back to bathe and get ready for the Christmas Eve Celebration at Subang Church.. :)

It was fun, seeing all my friends again... there was a Hymn Musical too.. :)

Tiring Eve but also awesome in a way.. :)

Christmas Day~

IT'S CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) WHEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Had to wake up like super early because we had to go to church early to set up and have a last round or practice... I was really tired because the previous night I only slept like 1 something in the morning, and I woke up at 7:45 am which makes it less than 8 hours of sleep... Really tired.. :(

Christmas service was good... :) FIRST TIME EVER PUCHONG CHURCH WAS PACKED UNTIL NOT ENOUGH CHAIRS!!!!!!!!!!!! Phewww!!!!!!! The church sure was crowded and stuffy.. :P

Lily and Swen came!!!!!!!!!!!! :) AWESOMEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!! :)


Had a fun time hanging out with them, laughing over silly things, etc... :)

And oh yeah, I SAW LOUISAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She's back for Christmas.... :) So nice to see her again... :) I missed her so much!!!!!!! :(

So that's about it..... I must say, this year's Christmas was pretty AWESOMEEE!!!!!! It rocked!!! :)

The Weekend Before...

Here's what happened last weekend...sorry I was too lazy to blog about it till now.. :)

Well as you all know, I attended my Youth Christmas Party at WEaVE's place.. :) It was AWESOME!!!! It was so nice seeing Lily, Michi, and Swen again!!!!!!! :)

We didn't do much at the party except hanging out.. :) But it was still fun anywayz... ;)

I had to leave the party early because I had to rush back home to change my clothes and grab my cello and stuff for our performance at IOI Boulevard!!!! :) It was quite a rush...hahaa but I manged to arrive at the Boulevard with 10 mins to spare... :)

The peformance at the coutyard was quite good...both Sarah and I could hear ourselves...thats the main thing...hahaha...besides the funny thing was, there was cool air coming down from the ceiling...that was nice because I was beginning to sweat.. ;)

After that we went to Pacific Coffee to peform...AHHHHH I TOTALLY LOVE THE SMELL IN THERE!!!!!!!!! It smelled sooooooo yummy!!!!!!! :)

And guess what I got a souvenior from Pacific Coffee...it was a Pacific Coffee 2012 Calendar and a cute little slide box(with a mirror inside) of mints inside a Pacific Coffee Bag!!!!!!! :) I was so surprised there was something for me!!!! :D

Sunday Morning, was sooooo tired, didn't have enough sleep, only had like 5 hours of sleep... :( And we had to stay back after church service till 2pm for our LAST PEFORMANCE at IOI Mall!!!!! :P

We had plenty of time to waste...hahahaha...went out for lunch with Sarah, JJJ, Sam, and Jie at Pelita.. :)

Talked there for quite awhile before we headed back to church and started to while away the time playing christian songs... :) JJJ on the piano and also vocals, Sue Ann vocals, Sarah on the violin, and Me on the cello.. :) It was fun.. :)

And then it was time to head to the mall...and when we arrived there, there was this really WEIRDO clown who gave us the creeps... he was like trying to be funny with us but at the same time we got annoyed and irritated with him...like he was so random...like serioulsy out of his mind...I think he's so IMMATURED!!!!! :P Both JJJ and I agreed we didn't like him and found him scary... :P

Anyway peformance at the mall was better than the 1st time...we could hear ourselves!!!!!! Wheeee!!!! :)

So that was the super busy weekend I had...and yea...another busy weekend ahead too!!!!!! :P

Youth Christmas Party at 5pm till 8.... and then later Boulevard Peformance at 9:30.... phew!!!!!!! So tiring... hahaha....

But I really can't wait for the party, can't wait to see all my friends again!!!!!!!!! Wheeeeeeee!!!!!!!! :)

Then Sunday there's church and the last performance at IOI Mall at 2 pm... :P

And, I'm still sick.... blek..... I'll be zonked out by that time... :P

I Skipped Church!!!!!!

Woke up at 9 am today with a TERRIBLE SORE THROAT... and I decided to skip church as I didn't want to pass germs to other people and I didn't want to expose myself to more germs too...

Got up, bathed, ate my breakfast, read until 10:30 am and felt so sleepy I went back to sleep...

Didn't wake up until 3:30 pm!!!!!!!!!! :P Imagine, 5 WHOLE HOURS!!!!!!!!! And I slept through lunch time too!!!!!!!!! :P

Ahhhh, I was really tired, didn't have enough sleep the past few days.........

My throat hurts so badly I can't even drink water without wincing in pain!!!!!!!!! I can barely talk too, infact I hardly talked the whole day, because it's too painful... :(

And my nose is starting to run like a tap already..... and later it's gonna get blocked until I can hardly breathe....sigh......

Why do I have to fall sick now???????? What a wrong time!!!!!!!!!! :(

Nando's and Farewell!!!!!!!!

So as I said in my previous post, we went to Pelita on Saturday night instead of going after church the next day as planned... partly because we didn't want to eat at pasar seni and partly because we weren't sure if they had roti in the afternoons...so we just went to Pelita the previous night.. :)

Instead of going to Pelita after church we ended up at NANDO'S instead!!!!!!!! :) Wow I said so many insteads.. :P

Anyway, yeah, Kerry also wanted to go to Nando's because she loves the food there too... :)

Jie Jie Janet joined us too, so that made 6 of us girls.. :) Sarah, JJJ, Kerry, Chrissie, Jie, and Me!!!!! :)

We had an awesome time there......but after Nando's came the sad part, we had to say goodbye to Kerry and Chrissie!!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! :(

It was soooooooo hard to say goodbye, I didn't want them to leave and we hugged so many times!!!! :P Kerry was saying, if only she can put all of us into her bag and ship us to America.. :)

I really miss them so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was a crazy week, filled with fun, and awesome-ness!!!!!!! I really enjoyed myself with them last week....

KLCC, Pasar Seni(Central Market), Petaling Street, and Pelita!!!!! :)

This is what happened on Saturday...

Sarah came to pick my sister and I up from our home at about 11 something... :) We had a girls day out!!!!! Just Kerry, Chrissie, Sarah, Jie, and Me!!!! Sam didn't come along.. :) So we didn't need to squash in Sarah's car... just nice, 2 in front, and 3 the back... :D

We headed to the LRT Station at Kelana Jaya, because we intended to take the LRT and not drive downtown.

Bought our tickets, boarded the LRT, and we were on our way to KLCC!!!!!!! It was a longer journey since KLCC was one of the last few stops.. :) But it was fun, it was still early so there were plenty of seats for us... :) We all sat 5 in a row!!!!! It was fun.. :D

Unfortunately, when we arrived at KLCC, we had bad news... Sarah wanted us to go up to the sky bridge thingy in between the twin towers...they give out only a certain amount of tickets per day for visitors to go up. It's free, as long as you can get a ticket... first come first serve basis. :D

But when we enquired at the info desk where to get the tickets, the lady said that the sky bridge and twin towers were closed for maintenance!!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOO!!!!!!!! :(

The whole reason why we went to KLCC was to go up on the sky bridge and of course for Chrissie to see the twin towers too...since she hasn't seen it before...Kerry has though.. :D

Ah well, so we decided to walk out to the park, and try and take a picture of us with the twin towers in the background...we managed to get a picture of it, almost all of the twin towers.. :D You'll see in the pictures later.. :)

By that time, we were all sweating and dripping...Both Sarah and I sweat really easily, all I need to do is just walk out in the hot sun and I will start sweating... Kerry was already glistening much earlier, and Chrissie and my sis were also saying it was hot..

We quickly headed back into the air conditioning and agreed that we all wanted ice cream.. :)

But in the end we didn't get any ice cream...we headed to the food court and jie and I had our lunch...the other 3 didn't wanna eat because they were still full from a heavy breakfast...we tried to hunt for ice cream later, but all the places we found were kinda of like expensive and we didn't want to pay so much for ice cream we haven't tasted before...so we went without ice creams...sad... :(

We hung about and walked for awhile until it was about 3pm and went back to the LRT and headed to Pasar Seni!!!!!!!! :D

All of us love Pasar Seni!!!!!!!! I really like the place, all the interesting shops and little things you can buy.... nice place... we stayed there a loooooong time... until like about 6 something.. :) All of us did our shopping there....especially Kerry and Chrissie, who still had to get gifts for some of their family members...they got everything there.. :)

While walking along the shops at Pasar Seni, we came across a stall which had bottles filled with sand paintings in it displaced on a shelf!!!!!!!! It was so interesting and we were wondering how it was done...I said aloud that maybe they did sand art and then stuff the card inside the bottle...the guy heard me and immediately said, NOOOOO, no paper, just sand...I will show you...

And he created another of those amazing bottles with a sand picture in it!!!!!!!! :) He was so fast, and it really amazes me how he can make such pictures... all the little details, he can do it so quickly!!!!! It's really amazing, all of us were just so thrilled and you just can't walk away!!!!!! :)

The guy is from Syria, and he said that the art he was doing is the culture in his country... awesomeee!!!! :D We had a conversation with him while he was showing us how the art was done... :)

I should have taken a picture of his work...AMAZING!!!!!!!!! :) Kerry and Chrissie bought one for a friend of theirs who was generous to them and gave them money to buy rings...the syrian guy made for them a bottle with the twin towers in it and other designs, and also he told them they could put in words... so they got the guy to put in a thank you note... :)

That was really interesting to watch...anytime you go to Pasar Seni, you should look for him...and watch him make one.. :)

After Pasar Seni, we went to Petaling Street, China Town... we just walked through the shops one time and we decided to head back to Pasar Seni again for dinner... later we decided that we didn't want to eat there and we should just eat dinner at PELITA!!!!!!!! :)

So we headed back to the LRT and back to Kelana Jaya...there weren't any seats available until almost towards the end of the journey so we had to stand up...after a whole day on my feet without much sitting down except for twice, my feet were hurting SO BADLY!!!!!! :( Sarah's too... but don't even mention my sister...she was complaining the whole time at Pasar Seni that she needs to sit down, her ankles were ready to burst!!!!!!!!! :P

Before we headed to Pelita, we had to pick up Sam first at Jamie's house...the whole time we were traveling to Jamie's house, we were trying to figure out if all of us could fit behind... since with the 3 of us behind, it's already pretty squash, what more with a 4th person!!!!!!!!! Finally we decided that we probably could fit in... hahahaha

Arrived there, and we had to wait like 10 mins before Sam appeared...even though Sarah already called earlier to inform him we are arriving soon, we still had to wait... haiz.... :P

WE MANAGED TO FIT IN!!!!!!!!! :D A little bit cramped but still "stand-able"... :)

Both Sarah and I could hardly wait to go to PELITA!!!!!!! We were both starving!!!!!! :)

Kerry was sooooo excited to go to Pelita, she missses their food a lot.. :) And you should have seen the food both Kerry and Chrissie ordered, it was like a feast.. :) It filled up our whole table and also part of the table next to us.. :)

And of course, Kerry couldn't go without her orange juice...she ordered 2 glasses and we took a picture of her drinking both of them simultaneously just like the last time she came to Pelita.. :)

After that it was time to drop both my sis and I back home...it was a tiring day but also AWESOME FUN!!!!! :) We had a good time with Kerry, Chrissie, and Sarah...we could talk about things that we won't talk about when a guy is around...teehehehehe... :)
