"PIAK" Goes My Cello String!

So today we had our 3rd Practice for the GPM. :)

And guess what happened?

We were in the midst of practicing How Great Thou Art and, suddenly, I heard a "PIAK!!!!!!!!!" Nikki, Aunty Eileen, and Kor Wee Lee, and I thought that my bow accidentally hit the mic or something.

But you know what happened instead? My A String BROKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :((((((((((

And the other strings all went out too....so that was the end of practice for me, since I can't play my cello anymore with a string broken.... :(

Nikki and Aunty Eileen continued practicing for a while still without me, then Kor Wee Lern said that we have another practice this Sunday instead...

I feel so bad la, because my string broke have to have another practice this Sunday... :(

Haiz, Anyway it's high time I need to change ALL the strings, they are quite old already... :P

What a day, if only it decided to break after practice then it won't be so bad! :P

PLUCK! :)



Went to watch PLUCK today!!!!!!!!!!! :) They've been peforming in Malaysia for more than a week already, and mummy totally forgot that today's their last perfomance in Malaysia! :P She thought there was still another week! :P

Anyway we managed to get tickets for their last performance. :)

Unfortunately, because they want to be child-friendly too, they have afternoon performances and night performances. Afternoons are for those who want to bring children, so it's a slightly shorter program than the night performance which are for non-children. :P

But today they decided to cancel the night performance so we had to go for the afternoon performance.

Sadly the first half of the program was a disappointment, I guess they were catering to the many children present there so it was pretty boring for us older people.. but at least the second half of the program was not too bad! :)

Basically they are a trio who performs classical music COMICALLY. :) Infact they are like comedieans. So they are supposed to make people laugh. lols. The kids present there really laughed a lot! :) One guy plays the Violin, the other guy the Viola and the girl the Cello! :)

DEATH BROWNIES! :)

I've decided to name my brownies "death brownies" after the "death muffins...." Only some people will get the joke, unfortunately, I'm not in the mood to explain to those who don't know what I mean. :)

Anyway, my death brownies tastes so much better today! Really need to leave it overnight to let the goodness soak in! :)

My CHOCOLATE BROWNIES!!!!!! :)

After coming home from youth meeting today, I decided to bake CHOCOLATE BROWNIES!!!!! It's the first time I'm baking brownies, so I wasn't sure how it will turn out....

It tastes pretty good if you don't compare it to the Loaf's brownies... :) I think it's more of the quality of the chocolate, if I had used EXPENSIVE good qualilty chocolate it would have tasted better... :)

Usually leaving it overnight will taste better the following day...so I'm leaving the rest overnight and see if it will taste even better tomorrow! :)

RUDEST GUYS EVER!

My BSF Senior Class had a big SHOCK today... :P

Our teachers decided to combine classes today...meaning the other senior class combine with our senior class.... we have two senior classes because there are too many of us.... anyway, for some reason they decided to combine us and it was soooooooo crowded in our room! There was even a second row of chairs...... later it became too hot because there were too many bodies in the room... :(

So anyway to get down to the whole point....the other senior class, there are these two particular GUYS.

Well, it's more of the chinese one that irritated me to the max rather than the indian one... the indian guy is just a follower... but the chinese guy, oh my, what a character!

He's such a RUDE person! He said so many foul words during our bsf class, made fun of our names, made the rudest negative comments ever, had this sickening attitude written all over his face, and much more...he was just I don't know what to say man!

Esther and I were commenting the whole time to each other that they are so rude, we wished somebody would do something about it!

The worst thing was, the chinese guy was trying to be funny, and sarcastic, but my teacher can't understand sarcasm unfortunately, so that was kinda of funny yet it was so rude of that guy to do that to teacher!

Not to mention they don't do their homework or want to participate.... >:(

What they need is a good spanking! Esther and I really felt like SLAPPING THEIR FACES REAL HARD! It was soooooooooooo annoying to see them get away with all their STUPID IDIOTIC ACTIONS!

Anyway after class was over, the other senior class went out to put their nametags, our class stayed on in our class room, and ALL OF US, including the guys in my class, were talking about the two guys and how they were so rude and irritating, we complained to teacher that we don't want any combined class, we were all so uncomfortable during class...seriously...very uncomfortable. :(

Anyway teacher said yea, they are tough cookies, and he said next week we won't combine classes! HOORAY!!!!!!!!! :) We all "yeah-ed" when  we heard that! ;)

It was such a relief when class ended!

Leg Cramps! :(

Friday morning, I was awaken by a BAD TERRIBLE PAIN on my right leg! It was leg cramp...I don't know how I got it but all I know is, as far as I can remember, that was my second time having leg cramp... :(

I think it's because my leg was up... :( I could hardly walk on it, it was so stiff and hurt a lot at my calve because that was where the cramp was... :(

Only later in the day I could slowly walk better.... and the worst thing was, the NEXT DAY, which was yesterday, I was awaken by a cramp again ON THE SAME PART!!!!!!! :(

How awful!

Anyway at least today I didn't get any... :) If not I'll probably be lame for awhile.. :P

Busy Week!

It's gonna be a VERY BUSY WEEK for me!!!!!!!!!! :(

Not to mention we are on duty for worship this Sunday, I have practice after that too.... oh boy...........

Rehersal/Practice, NIKKI, and Voyage of the Dawn Treader :)

You may be thinking, why such a long title with so many subjects????? :) Reason is, I'm too lazy to blog each subject separately so why not just combine it into one post? :) Bear with me... :)

First, Kor Wee Lern fetch me for my practice in CDPC Subang, and also back home... rather, he offered.. :)

Ok anyway, so Nikki suggested we eat lunch together, so I arrived there at about 12:05pm??? :) Nikki and I were texting the whole time between 11:40pm till we saw each other... :P She had to go back home first from her church so by the time she arrived it was about 12: 15 like that... ;)

And then we ended up putting our instruments up at church first....it was kinda of weird walking in with my big cello while the sermon was still on... :P It was really weird, everybody staring because the door is like RIGHT THERE...I mean, once you are at the door, like so many people can see you... :P

Anyway the youths were at the back there and Michi and Swen didn't expect to see me and were surprised... :) It was good to see them again... but didn't get to hang out with them because there just wasn't any time.. :(

So we put our instruments in Alicia's office and cabut to lunch...we really didn't know what to eat, we spent like almost 5 mins just like looking at the whole row of shops to see what to eat... :P In the end we decided to try out some Why Mee? Restaurant that was just opposite the church. (I'm pretty sure there was a question mark after the "why mee". I kinda of like the name, it's cool.)

Both of us ordered the same thing. Wan Tan Mee. It was ok.. :) As both of us said, edible.. :)  hahaha, I sound so ungrateful, but it was ok la... :) I ordered lime juice and it was quite sour!!!!!! :) Funny thing is, both of us have this habit that we only drink after we finish eating!!!!! :) And, both of us were so full we could barely finish our drinks...it was such a big glass!!!!!!!! :)

Oh wow, were we full after that!!!!!!! We kept saying, "ahhh, so full..." "ahhhhh, so full..." lols... :D

Sine practice starts at 1pm, we timed ourselves to finish lunch by 1... actually we should have gone back earlier to tune up and unpack but we were talking and eating so slowly that we lost track of time!!!! hahahaa but we left the shop at 1 la.. ;) And I just realized that it's been coming soon to TWO YEARS since I last saw Nikki!!!!!!!!!! Soooooo long ago!!!!!!!!!!!! :(

Went back, unpacked, tuned up, and then started practice... :) Nikki, Aunty Eileen and I practically did sight reading... we barely looked at the score beforehand...I guess we were all too lazy or busy... :DDD

I must say, it was pretty good for a first rehersal! The 2nd song was the worst, because the timing is so weird.....we spent a lot of time on the 2nd song... :PPP

And then, sometimes Nikki forgets to come in because she was dreaming, and then  I will be blur sometimes, then Aunty Eileen also blur sometimes... hahahahahaa it was really really funny... :DDDD

To sum it up, it was quite a good practice... :) Next one is in 2 weeks time.. :)

So, after Kor Wee Lern dropped me back home, jie and I watched VOYAGE OF THE DAWN TREADER.... I know, so late right????? But we only just recently bought the VCD and FINALLY we watched it today.. :)

One thing I like about the book is that, it doesn't really have war in it? I mean, there may be some fighting like for example with the SEA SERPENT, but there isn't any real war in the book...and neither is there in the movie... I guess it's because I just hate violence? That's why I like Voyage of the Dawn Treader.. :)

But I'm so disappointed!!!!!!!!!!!! Some people said that among all the Chronicles of Narnia movies that have come out, Voyage of the Dawn Treader is one movie that they followed mostly like the book!

BUT THAT IS SO NOT TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's like they switch so many events around, and everything is like so different!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course theres resemblance but it's so really different... :(

I still think The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe is more like the book rather than the Voyage of the Dawn Treader... :) That's my opinion. :)

Ok, so I'm done with this post, and I realized it's such a long post! :P

Sunway SHOPPING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

We went to Sunway Pyramid today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wheeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bought a few things, first of all my sis and I just went walking around the whole place and we ended up in DIVA!!!!!!!!!! I love diva!!!!!! :) The accessories there are sooooooooooooo pretty and beautiful but they aren't cheap at all...it's actually on the expensive side... :(

Finally decided to buy a ring, which I totally love.....it's quite expensive so I won't mention the price... :) I know that it's almost too expensive to be worth it but I can't find it anywhere else so...... :)

Then next, I stopped by Sinma to grabbed a hair thingy.......

Actually we went to a number of clothes shops too, but because of limited time, we hardly had time to look at all the clothes, later, we went into Marry Merry....

AAAAAAAHHHHHHH I LOVE THAT SHOP!!!!!!!!! They sell gowns there... ;) And I liked one gown they had there, and best of all, it had 50 % DISCOUNT!!!!!!!! :)

Asked mummy if I could buy it, and blablabla, finally I did buy it, WOOOOOTTSSSS!!!!!!! I only payed RM 50 for the gown!!!!!!!!! :) It was 99 and I only payed 50!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So cheapppppp!!!!!! :)

It's a long black gown.....hope I can use it for my cello.... :) I mean, usually sometimes if I have a concert or an occasion when I need a black gown for my cello, then I hope it will be of use.. ;)

That's about it that I bought...because we had to leave after that... :(((((((

Just now bought some great black knit cloth from Kamdar....FINALLY, they brought in black color..... :)
