Rehersal/Practice, NIKKI, and Voyage of the Dawn Treader :)

You may be thinking, why such a long title with so many subjects????? :) Reason is, I'm too lazy to blog each subject separately so why not just combine it into one post? :) Bear with me... :)

First, Kor Wee Lern fetch me for my practice in CDPC Subang, and also back home... rather, he offered.. :)

Ok anyway, so Nikki suggested we eat lunch together, so I arrived there at about 12:05pm??? :) Nikki and I were texting the whole time between 11:40pm till we saw each other... :P She had to go back home first from her church so by the time she arrived it was about 12: 15 like that... ;)

And then we ended up putting our instruments up at church first....it was kinda of weird walking in with my big cello while the sermon was still on... :P It was really weird, everybody staring because the door is like RIGHT THERE...I mean, once you are at the door, like so many people can see you... :P

Anyway the youths were at the back there and Michi and Swen didn't expect to see me and were surprised... :) It was good to see them again... but didn't get to hang out with them because there just wasn't any time.. :(

So we put our instruments in Alicia's office and cabut to lunch...we really didn't know what to eat, we spent like almost 5 mins just like looking at the whole row of shops to see what to eat... :P In the end we decided to try out some Why Mee? Restaurant that was just opposite the church. (I'm pretty sure there was a question mark after the "why mee". I kinda of like the name, it's cool.)

Both of us ordered the same thing. Wan Tan Mee. It was ok.. :) As both of us said, edible.. :)  hahaha, I sound so ungrateful, but it was ok la... :) I ordered lime juice and it was quite sour!!!!!! :) Funny thing is, both of us have this habit that we only drink after we finish eating!!!!! :) And, both of us were so full we could barely finish our drinks...it was such a big glass!!!!!!!! :)

Oh wow, were we full after that!!!!!!! We kept saying, "ahhh, so full..." "ahhhhh, so full..." lols... :D

Sine practice starts at 1pm, we timed ourselves to finish lunch by 1... actually we should have gone back earlier to tune up and unpack but we were talking and eating so slowly that we lost track of time!!!! hahahaa but we left the shop at 1 la.. ;) And I just realized that it's been coming soon to TWO YEARS since I last saw Nikki!!!!!!!!!! Soooooo long ago!!!!!!!!!!!! :(

Went back, unpacked, tuned up, and then started practice... :) Nikki, Aunty Eileen and I practically did sight reading... we barely looked at the score beforehand...I guess we were all too lazy or busy... :DDD

I must say, it was pretty good for a first rehersal! The 2nd song was the worst, because the timing is so weird.....we spent a lot of time on the 2nd song... :PPP

And then, sometimes Nikki forgets to come in because she was dreaming, and then  I will be blur sometimes, then Aunty Eileen also blur sometimes... hahahahahaa it was really really funny... :DDDD

To sum it up, it was quite a good practice... :) Next one is in 2 weeks time.. :)

So, after Kor Wee Lern dropped me back home, jie and I watched VOYAGE OF THE DAWN TREADER.... I know, so late right????? But we only just recently bought the VCD and FINALLY we watched it today.. :)

One thing I like about the book is that, it doesn't really have war in it? I mean, there may be some fighting like for example with the SEA SERPENT, but there isn't any real war in the book...and neither is there in the movie... I guess it's because I just hate violence? That's why I like Voyage of the Dawn Treader.. :)

But I'm so disappointed!!!!!!!!!!!! Some people said that among all the Chronicles of Narnia movies that have come out, Voyage of the Dawn Treader is one movie that they followed mostly like the book!

BUT THAT IS SO NOT TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's like they switch so many events around, and everything is like so different!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course theres resemblance but it's so really different... :(

I still think The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe is more like the book rather than the Voyage of the Dawn Treader... :) That's my opinion. :)

Ok, so I'm done with this post, and I realized it's such a long post! :P

Sunway SHOPPING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

We went to Sunway Pyramid today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wheeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bought a few things, first of all my sis and I just went walking around the whole place and we ended up in DIVA!!!!!!!!!! I love diva!!!!!! :) The accessories there are sooooooooooooo pretty and beautiful but they aren't cheap at all...it's actually on the expensive side... :(

Finally decided to buy a ring, which I totally love.....it's quite expensive so I won't mention the price... :) I know that it's almost too expensive to be worth it but I can't find it anywhere else so...... :)

Then next, I stopped by Sinma to grabbed a hair thingy.......

Actually we went to a number of clothes shops too, but because of limited time, we hardly had time to look at all the clothes, later, we went into Marry Merry....

AAAAAAAHHHHHHH I LOVE THAT SHOP!!!!!!!!! They sell gowns there... ;) And I liked one gown they had there, and best of all, it had 50 % DISCOUNT!!!!!!!! :)

Asked mummy if I could buy it, and blablabla, finally I did buy it, WOOOOOTTSSSS!!!!!!! I only payed RM 50 for the gown!!!!!!!!! :) It was 99 and I only payed 50!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So cheapppppp!!!!!! :)

It's a long black gown.....hope I can use it for my cello.... :) I mean, usually sometimes if I have a concert or an occasion when I need a black gown for my cello, then I hope it will be of use.. ;)

That's about it that I bought...because we had to leave after that... :(((((((

Just now bought some great black knit cloth from Kamdar....FINALLY, they brought in black color..... :)

MEEPLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went to Meeples yesterday!!!!!!!!!! It was our youth outing.. :)

It's an awesome place!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For those who don't know what it is, it's a shop that has the coolest board games evaaaa!!!!!!!!! :DDDD
It's Rm 5 per hour....not that cheap considering it takes quite awhile just to play one board game but ah well, it was a fun experience... :)

The earlier batch of youth who turned up there were, me, jie, lily, the 3 ng's, sam, bryan, justin, and amos....

Caleb and his big gang came later... :DDDDD


Anyway we only played 2 games, cz we only payed for 2 hours... :(

It's kinda of "un-worth-it" paying 10 bucks for 2 games... :(((( And to make matters worse, the 2 games that we played weren't that nice.. :(((((((

I'm thinking of becoming a member...you get so many more priveleges with it.. :)

First of all, to become a member you have to pay RM 60 a year...BUT BUT BUT....you get a RM 50 voucher(for the games), and instead of paying RM 5 per hour, you only need to pay RM 3.50, get 10% off for buying the games and their food, and blablabla... :)

Anyway I had fun yesterday, but I accidentally scraped my elbows while playing the games...and it hurts terribly... ;(

UNCLE BUBBLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :DDD

Uncle Bubbles handled the youth session today!!!!!!!!!! :) Topic was on Me and my Siblings. :) Rather, Sibling Rivalry.. :)

Anyway, it was a pretty fun session, we started off with a little game called BLOW WIND BLOW. Im sure you would have heard of it.. :) But in case you haven't, it's a simple game.

We gather chairs into a circle, enough for everybody playing the game except one. That means if everybody sits down, one person doesn't have a chair to sit down on. :)

So the person who doesn't have a chair will have to go in the middle and say, "Blow Wind Blow." And the rest of us reply, "Blow What?" And then he/she in the middle will say, "Blow _________."

What the person has to say is like for example, "Blow all those who are wearing jeans, or blow those who have long hair, or blow those who have a face..." Something like that...anything la you can say.. :)

Then any of us who happen to have whatever the person in the middle just said, or did something whatever the person in the middle said will have to get up and sit on another chair...NOT the one they've just sat on, but another one.. :) And the person in the middle will naturally try to get a chair himself.. :)

So there will be scrambling for chairs during the game... :) It's fun... :)

Only problem is, we keep bumping into each other and Sam knocked his forehead into mine, and I got a bad bruise after that.. :PPPP

Anyway to make the game faster, Uncle Bubbles decided that whoever gets in the middle THREE TIMES, is so called the loser and will have to sing us a song!!!!!!! :)

Of course I tried not to get into the middle, I DIDN'T WANNA TO SING!!!!!! ;)

Anyway Shi Guang had to sing and he sang some Tarzan song.. :)

And then the session started...............................

The main points were:

1) All of us are different.
2) We are all special and unique in our own way.
3) God still loves us even though we are all different.
4) As siblings, we have to try and understand that each of us are different and never the same.
5) Siblings have to learn to get along with each other, accept the fact that you can't make the other sibling the same like you, and you can't expect your sibling to be EXACTLY like you. :)
6) Love each other.

We ended early so all of us went down to the mamak and had a drink.... :) Kor Wee Kee bought "vadeh..." for us...HE'S A "VADEH" FREAK!!!!!! ;))))

And we just had fun hanging out with each other downstairs... :)

Oh, and because we ended early, we started this discussion on BUBBLES. :)

You must be wondering who is Uncle Bubbles right??? :) Well he's actually the speaker for today and none other but Kor Eu Joe/Uncle Eu Joe.. :)

Why we call him Uncle Bubbles is because..............

He wants to start BUBBLES next week.. :) He said it's like Ripples but just that, we have more fun and activities... :) And a whole list of fun things la... :)

It's some random thing he came out with, and he asked who wanna join BUBBLES???? Besides, those who join Bubbles will get RM 50 from him!!!!!!! ;)

How that happen was, I think, somebody asked him do we have to pay to join, something like that la...can't really remember...then he said, only need to pay, NEGATIVE 50 RINGGIT!!!!!

So then Su Xin said, then like that, UNCLE BUBBLES will have to pay us the 50 ringgit lor!!!!! Since he said NEGATIVE.. :))))) Damn hilarious!!!!!! :)

Anyway, it's just a joke la...this bubbles thingy... but Swen and I decided to call him Uncle Bubbles since he wants to start BUBBLES NEXT WEEK!!!!!!  :))))

GRANDPARENTS ARE BACK FROM CAMBODIA!!!!!!!!!! :D

Went to the airport today to fetch my grandparents!!!!!!!!! They just came back from Cambodia!!!! :D

I don't feel like blogging much but, Ah Ma bought a few stuff for us... :DD

Tomorrow, will be having lunch with them and the Mows at some club at subang.. ;) Buffet lunch... :D

FEVER...TUMMY PAIN.... :(((

2 days ago, I had a bad stomach pain almost the whole day....wasn't too bad, yesterday was worse, and then in the afternoon suddenly I got a FEVER.. :((((

I felt sick the whole day yesterday....it was pretty bad... my tummy was soooooo sickening!!!!!!! I felt like kicking it... :PPPP

First, I felt nauseous whenever I smell food, could hardly eat, had no appetite....and even worse, I had this TERRIBLE HEADACHE!!!!!!!!! :(((

Because of the fever and headache at first we thought could it be Dengue Fever????? :( Since I got so many mosquito bites at camp too... :(((

But then camp was more than 1 week ago so we thought maybe not... :)

Anyway I feel better today, I might have a slight fever still, but at least I can function... :)

I feel a bit dizzy though...especially when I stand up...hopefully I will get well soon!!!!!!! :DDD

Sudoku Accomplishment!!!!!!!!!! :)

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I finished both puzzles!!!!!!!!!! :)

Our Ripplicate Booklets had 2 sudoku puzzles behind and I decided to finish it.. :)

The first one was relatively easy, but the second one????? THAT IS A TOUGHIE!!!!!!!!! :SSS

I was struggling with it, terribly, and decided to ask my pro sister (she's been doing sudoku for years)...but her strategy didn't work for me, it was stupid to me.. :)

So I came out with my own strategy and HEY PRESTO!!!!!!!! IT WORKED!!!!!!!!!! I've finished both the puzzles and I'm proud of myself!!!!!!! :)

Gallivanting with the Wongs... :)

Saw SARAH today!!!!!!!!!!!! Wheeeeeeee!!!!!!! :)

And after church both she and sam wanted to go to subang church so they asked jie and me if we wanted to go along and we said YESSSSS!!!!!!!! :) Parents said ok, so we left with the Wongs.. :)

They actually planned to leave earlier but Sarah got caught with people, and started talking so yeah... :)

We were too late because the people Sarah wanted to see were having lunch, and when we went to the kopitiam, they were preparing to leave!!!!!!!!!! But she still talked for awhile though...

Anyway the WEaVE decided to stay on while we ate lunch... :) By that time, I was ROASTING.... it was like an OVEN there, and Veron Jie said I look like a baby lobster... :PPPP

I was sweating like a fountain!!!!!!! :((((

After lunch we went to Yong Yi Kor and Sharon Jie's place.... :)

Euan is SOOOOOOOOOOOO ADORABLEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!! :) He was very cheeky while we were there but also entertaining... :) Awwwhhh so cuteee... :) And when we left, because I said "star" he wanted me to carry him... :) awwwhhh so cute... and also because he knew we were going out and he loves going out... :)

Then later Sam wanted to go SHOPPING. :) We were like huh????? Because it's Jamie's birthday today, so he needed to get a present for him...so we were like ok, where do you want to go, Sunway or IOI???? In the end we decided on IOI because it's smaller and the chances of finding a parking space there is higher compared to Sunway... :)

Anyway we had a hard time finding a parking space still...but finally found one at a DARK DARK SPOT... ;)

And off we go to shop.... Sam was SOOOO FICKLE... ;) In the end he thought he might get Jamie some ANGRY BIRD thingy.... but he couldn't decide if he should really get it, and which want should he get... :)

We were at the stall for like 15-20 mins ok!!!!!!!! Waiting fof him to decide but he couldn't decide.... So Sarah and I decided to decide for him and told him to get the small plush toy angry bird thingy...but sam wasn't keen on it.... And then we waited and waited while sam played with all the angry birds there and then finally we said, WOI, HURRY UP LA!!!!!!! Sarah was getting bored, and so were the rest of us... :) And  we were like HURRY UP AND DECIDE!!!!!!!!! :)

Finally he decided to call DANIEL TAN....goodness we were like, WHATTTT!!!!???? Need to call him also arrr?????? :P

Anyway daniel said get the angry bird pillow thingy instead of the plush toy... so Sam was like ok...but that also he was still reluctant, like he still wasn't sure if he should really get the pillow...anywayz, it was like 20 mins later that he finally BOUGHT THE ANGRY BIRD PILLOW.

FINALLYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)))) My sis, Sarah, and I were all like phewww... :) And then the next thing we knew was, he said let's go and buy doughnuts, and Sarah was like har??? But then we thought ok...let's eat... :)

And then what do you think happened after we ate????? :O

We were still eating when Sam said, I NEED TO GO AND BUY SOME CABBAGES...

AND ALL OF US SAID, WHAT ON EARTH!!!!!!!!!??????????

He said it's a joke, they are gonna give Jamie the cabbage and make him think that's his present.... and we were like, oh man.....sigh.....do you really have to go and buy it???? :) Because Jusco was like the other end of the mall and we were at Jco's which was at the new wing and right on the other end of Jusco...so we told him, YOU GO AND BUY, we will WAIT HERE... ;)

He was like ok..... and the next thing we knew was, HE CAME BACK EMPTY HANDED.

And we were like, WHAT NOW......... he said this Jusco doesn't have a grocery department... WE WERE LIKE, OF COURSE THERE IS!!!!!!!!! It's right inside!!!!!!!!!

We were groaning by then and we were like angry birds too by then.. :)

Then he said, that's why, he needs us all to follow him and buy the cabbage since he couldn't find the place... :( Yish, Sarah and I REFUSED to budge and told him to go himself.... Jie was about to follow him when I came out with a SOLUTION.

I said since they have to send us back, theres a Giant on the way to my place... Sam was keen on the idea but not Sarah, she said she'd rather Sam walk all the way back to Jusco again rather than stopping at another supermarket... :)

But in the end we went for the Giant Idea... :)

So we drove there and waited for him in the car, and he came back with, OH THANK GOODNESS, SOMETHING IN HIS HAND... :)

He came back with Cabbage and CUCUMBER!!!!!!!! :))))

And finally we could go back home... wheeeee

That was the adventure we had after church today...
